A friend and I stayed with Jeannette in her lovely home during the Spring Pilgrimage April 2-6. If you want a true measure of southern hospitality you will find it at Linden. We stayed in Clarice's room in the oldest part of the house. Our beds were extremely comfortable, the room, sheets, and bathroom cleaned daily. The house is large so guests are not bumping into each other in narrow hallways or worried with noise through thin walls.
Delicious coffee is offered on the back veranda followed by a full breakfast served in the antique filled dining room. The staff is very friendly and of course Jeannette loves regaling guests with the interesting history of the home. She is the very best hostess - always helpful, organized, and entertaining. Linden has endured the highs and lows of Natchez prosperity and featured in historic tableaux and tours for many years. We left feeling like family and wishing the very best for the future of Linden and Natchez. A perfect bed and breakfast

Ms. Jeanette is wonderful. We cannot wait to return. Linden is clean and well kept and the grounds are beautiful. You could not ask for better service. Ms. Jeanette's family has lived there since 1849 with her children being the sixth generation to be raised at Linden. This perspective makes the experience truly unique.

Compared to the other plantation homes in the Natchez area this home is simply not in the same league. Keeping one of these properties up is very costly and it is evident that Linden does not have the revenue stream to return it to whatever level of finery it was in its early years. The breakfast included is very hit or miss.

We have stayed here twice and enjoy it because it has a special place in our hearts. However, if this is not the case for you, you are probably going to be disappointed.

To us the best rooms are in the addition, but they do have some draw backs. The AC unit is quite loud and the thermostat is not always in the room that is being conditioned. Sort of an eclectic experience, so be up for it.

Ms Jeannette, the owner, is a unique character who is not to be missed. The house is a fabulous piece of history, the rooms lovely, and the food excellent. We particularly enjoyed speaking to Ms Jeannette, whose late husband was the 6th generation of his family to live in the house. Her tour of the house and stories of the past made Linden a very special place indeed. I highly recommend it!

Everything about our stay at Linden was incredible. I would definitely stay here again. Coffee on the patio and our breakfast was incredible, as well as learning about the history of the home during the tour.

I took advantage of the Christmas at Linden Package that Linden Bed and Breakfast offered in Natchez, MS. It started with a game of Sneaking Santa gift exchange. It was such a blast I thought I was going to have to separate some of the guest. After a short tour of the historic antebellum home given by your gracious southern host Miss Jeanette we all set down to a delicious brunch of Eggs benedict, sweet potato hash browns, grits au gratin and mimosas. There were 14 of us at the brunch and I watched there wasn't a plate that had anything left on it when they were removed from the table. I left that brunch feeling as if I had just added 13 new members to my family. Later that evening an elegant Christmas Dinner was served on the finest of china and chrystal. It was Prime Rib, baked potatoes, salad, brussel Sprouts and southern squash. Again I watched as empty plate after empty plate was removed from the table and when coffee and dessert was served is the only time the whole day I saw any plate removed from the table with something still on it. The cook was just a good ole country cook named Chuck and Miss Jeanette other little elf Steve made sure everyone was taken care of. They say that this will become a Christmas Tradition in Natchez and if it does I know where I will be spending Christmas everyone year.
Thank you so much, Jeanette, Chuck, Steve and of course Linden for making this one of the best Christmas's since I was a child
