We were there today, got our table and the menu, and then they forgot all avout us. We were totally invisible for the staff. We didn't even get the question if we wanted to have something to drink. After 20 min we left and then they said "thank's for visiting us"...

Picture this, tourist town of the old south on the mighty Mississippi River with houses of the Civil War era, horse drawn buggy tours, and a graveyard four hundred years old and right in the middle of all this is Breauds, home of the worse southern hospitality I've ever been exposed to in any town south of the Mason-Dixon. The servers ignore customers, laugh, chat and play on cell phones in lieu of their jobs. My particular server acted irritated and bothered that I requested a refill on water, which prompted her to explain loud enough that I could hear "water drinkers don't tip anyway" as she returned to her text messaging. Save your frustration go somewhere else to eat like Magnolia Grill down on the river.

I met the girls for lunch on a Friday and I enjoyed the special that day. A half of a fried shrimp poboy and a cup of gumbo for $8.00 was a really good deal. There were lots of shrimp perfectly cooked on the poboy and the gumbo was spicy and thick. This will be a weekly outing!

The Restaraunt has moved to bigger and better location, with great lunch special starting at like $6 and a Ribeye for $12 bucks, that's mouth watering , I RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

We had the ribeye steak and grilled shrimp. Steak was cooked perfectly and had a great taste. Shrimp were grilled perfectly as well. Not overcooked at all. They have moved to a new location and must have left alot of the problems behind at the old location. Our server was very attentive and explained the specials in detail and quoted prices for each of them. During the course of the meal, we had 4 other servers stop by the table and ask if we needed anything. The food came out quickly as well. All in all, a pleasant experience. It is a little pricey however.
