When I decided to choose this accommodation, amongst the different offers presented by the travel agency, I was much influenced by the reviews of trip advisor.
In general, I cannot say I felt deceived since, in general the appraisals are quite objectives.
The lodge is located in a quiet area, so if you are looking for night life this is not the place, because you are somehow far from the buzz. There are not many parking places around but, at least, they are for free.
The access to the ski resort is quite convenient since your are just 200m away from an "entrance" to Puerta Monaita slope, and the road is nearly flat. However, you cannot be a beginner to use this "way in", in this case you need to go down the stairs the get "Parador I" lift (which is fine in the morning, but in the end of the day, to climb up the hill with your skis on your shoulder it can be tough...).
There are a couple of restaurants nearby but Giovanni can also serve you a dinner at the Apartments restaurant.
The flat was ok and the price is fair. It was not new but was alright for relaxing after an exhausting day of skiing and to cook some simple meals (be aware that not all kitchen tools are available: corkscrew, can opener, but I am sure you can borrow them from Giovanni...).
Make sure to choose an apartment with a view, you will be amazed!
But, above all, it is the warm hospitality one can find at Apartamentos Montreal that makes the difference. Giovanni’s gentle manner is always there to help you and give you support for anything you need.
