Came here twice, first time we were in 6 and second time just 2.
Cash only great place with good food. I would recommend to come here when you are hungry and have cravings for just warm comfort food. There's no much indoor seating but the service was warm and friendly, helping out feed as well two young kids (under 5), tweaking the order to make it non spicy.
Much appreciated and delicious yum.
Location: close to the mill valley downtown, few minutes walk from the library.
Ambiance: Diner style, very small space with two tables inside. It's a quiet alley and all you can hear is the sizzling of the kitchen.
F&B: Comfort warm delicacies, although the food was much better when the female owner was around. Both times had rice plates: rich and generous portion. The basmati rice is cooked to perfection, as you can see from how long and whole the grains are, the marination of the carrots also done very well. I didn't have the chutney as it was too sweet. Loved in particular the soup, 2nd time a bit too salty but after adding water it was slightly better.
Wifi: no
Bathroom: ask the owner, she'll be nice enough to let you use the staff one!

This place was close to out hotel Mill Valley Hotel and we chose to come here for a dessert which was recommended . It was sort of cheese cake slice with an interesting sauce on it . The combo of rice with veg / non veg is also offered along with listed menu . There is limited seating out side / inside . A place to take away in a hurry . Not for fine dining . Economical eats , a meal as listed would cost around 10 $

My husband and I split the excellent sweet potato burrito for lunch. Living close by we were able to enjoy it at home with a small amount of greens on the side. I like to put greek yogurt on mine to cut the heat a bit. Excellent! Friendly, fast, delicious!

Delightful owner/waiter/host and most unique fusion of Indian and Mexican food.

Husband and I both had the Punjab Burrito. With a preference for a bit of heat, I asked for Level 6 (of 10) heat/spice and hubby asked for no heat.

The burritos were quite substantial in size (2 per plate) accompanied by basmati rice. Tea and water were refilled promptly. And a delectable Gelato Pistachio dessert was shared. The latter, I liked very much but my husband did not care for.

If you are looking for a casual, unpretentious place with very good food, try Avatar's.

Great people, great burritos and papadams. Try the restaurant in Sausalito, amazing place. Free party on Thanksgiving.
