Came here twice, first time we were in 6 and second time just 2.
Cash only great place with good food. I would recommend to come here when you are hungry and have cravings for just warm comfort food. There's no much indoor seating but the service was warm and friendly, helping out feed as well two young kids (under 5), tweaking the order to make it non spicy.
Much appreciated and delicious yum.
Location: close to the mill valley downtown, few minutes walk from the library.
Ambiance: Diner style, very small space with two tables inside. It's a quiet alley and all you can hear is the sizzling of the kitchen.
F&B: Comfort warm delicacies, although the food was much better when the female owner was around. Both times had rice plates: rich and generous portion. The basmati rice is cooked to perfection, as you can see from how long and whole the grains are, the marination of the carrots also done very well. I didn't have the chutney as it was too sweet. Loved in particular the soup, 2nd time a bit too salty but after adding water it was slightly better.
Bathroom: ask the owner, she'll be nice enough to let you use the staff one!
