Perfect for traveling through! Very clean, with comfy rooms and very fair rates - they also accept AAA, which brought down the price even further for us. It's conveniently located, just north of San Francisco, and very close to Golden Gate views and Muir Woods. Quiet, too. Worked well for us, as business travelers. On our list for next time we're heading through!

Room tip: Non-smoking rooms smell completely clean!

We got stranded at SFO last Wednesday, 27 due to United Airlines cancellation. All other hotel were sold out. Travelodge got us a room and saved us from sleeping on the airport floor. Thanks!

In pricey Marin County ($300-500/nite for a room), this was a breath of fresh air. For just $129/nite, we got a non-smoking king suite with jacuzzi tub, 2 TV's, fridge & microwave. Obviously, this is no Ritz Carlton, but free continental breakfast. Next door is a great drive-thru coffee/cappucino vendor. Our room, not facing the 101, was quiet. Terrific location for access to Mill Valley, Sausalito, Mt. Tam and Stinson Beach, and the City (just over the Golden Gate). Request Room 147.

Could take some attention to the exterior, but the rooms were very adequate and clean. The desk attendants were very friendly and helpful.
