Long, slow, easy late Sunday brunch on the deck by a glittering blue canal, with no wait for a table. Eggs Benedict excellent--perfectly poached eggs, bright tart hollandaise, thick juicy canadian bacon. In-restaurant service also competent and friendly.
Greek take-out for dinner--meh: just ok, but worth it as comfort food we didn't have to make ourselves. Skip the stuffed grape leaves in sauce because the sauce is gross and unnecessary. Stuffed cabbage mediocre. Produce in the greek salad and the quality of the feta and olives were excellent. Lamb souvlaki, pretty good though not flavourful enough. Calamari, perfect, though the dipping sauce was basically ketchup with a little kick. Still, compared to the awful, overpriced, tasteless junk that restaurants around here serve to yuppies and yacht people... the Dipsea is just fine by me.
