“So Hapy We Tried Again!”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

First off, you MUST request Chick as your server. A more delightful person in this job does not exist. The food exquisite, the grace of the location and all of the staff is superior. The five of us enjoyed fabulous specialty drinks like the Raspberry Lemon Drop, The Moscow Mule, and something that I believe was called The Black Pearl...I don't see it on their drink menu right now. (But believe me, it was so good, I drank 2 of them!) We indulged in salads, - The Wedge and Dungeness Crab, Crispy Onion Rings (to die for), Barbequed Baby Back Ribs, Pork Chops, and more. A not to be missed experience, to be certain. Hats off to The Buckeye Roadhouse for a superior dinner out! I am submitting this review as our experience was far superior to the one we had over a year ago and for which I left a very average review. So happy we tried again.

“Birthday girls trip”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

BEST smore dessert ever, worth a trip back just for that, so good hardly remember having lunch! A bit challenging to get to and park but worth the trip. Chalet type inside with real smoke house if you eat meat. Seafood was excellent as well as the service. Definately would return

“Not to be missed”
Reviewed May 18, 2013 via mobile

We loved the food here, it was the stand out place from our 2 week trip. The restaurant was full but we still got great service, perfect food and were not kept waiting. I would return to Mill Valley just to eat here again. The fish dishes in particular were superb

“If you stand out you'll be looked over...”

Though I was apologized to profusively by my finally assigned and highly attentive and couteous wait person. Thank you kind sir for making an otherwise expensive and regrettable dining experience one that will be remembered for your hospitality and graciousness.

“Another world”

Going back in time - just a great place for lunch or dinner. Not gourmet - just a really cool place to be. A lot of people watching = never know who may be at the next table.
