Food first - had hoped for a decent curry having broken down on my motorcycle in the rain 10 hours from home on the bank holiday. Sid was great, opened the restaurant up just for us and served up amazing dishes off the bone prepared that day. Even the Korma was incredibly tasty for a basic dish. The decor, interior, service and food (my mate had a more exciting chicken dish) was incredible and I would have loved to have sampled more of the menu on an evening meal out.
Service - Sid let us sit down when he would normally only offer a takeaway bank holiday lunch service, he let us stay out of the rain for 3.5 hours sacrificing his spare time and made us feel completely at home. Sid suggested a mechanic friend who got us going again! He really made us feel at ease and is a genuine, decent bloke. Once you got him going about his business you start to realise the pride he takes in it especially in the preparation of the food which as a result tasted amazing, and the hygiene standards his fairly young company have to adhere to in order to get the status it is awarded. Sid knows his stuff, forget that I'm biased because he helped a complete stranger in such a massive way. This is a great little restaurant.
