The Buffalo Burger was amazing! Service was fast & friendly. The interior boosts the saloon from back in the day. The kids had a kick with the way the waitresses were dressed. Family of 6 eat for a great value.

For the price the meal was only a two stars because the "side" of french fries were stale and tatsed like barely warm paper and the salad was brown edge iceberg with grated carrots.

Thank you for dining with us and for taking time to post your review. We are very disappointed to learn of the issues that left you unsatisfied with your meal. Our biggest regret is that these things were not brought to our attention while you were in the restaurant so that we could have addressed them immediately.

As small business owners, we work very hard to get things right the first time. It is ALWAYS our goal to make sure that we are not only meeting, but exceeding our guests expectations. We want our guests to leave the Ruby House feeling like they got what they expected -- and more. Obviously, that doesn't always happen -- but we work hard to try and make sure it happens more often than not.

Along the same lines -- it is so frustrating when there are situations like this, where there are little problems -- that shouldn't happen -- but also have very simple fixes, IF we knew about them. Problems that if they were brought to our attention right away, not only could we have fixed them right away for the guest (ie- New salad/ hot french fries) but we also could have made sure that it was an isolated incident and not a training issue or a bad product. Certainly it isn't the job of our guests to correct our problems-- however, we can't fix or change what we don't know.

Although we do close for the season at the end of October - we work VERY hard to make sure that our product is fresh and that the quality of our food and service is just as good (if not better) on the last day - as the first. The end of the season is NEVER an excuse for less than 100% service - food quality - or the "full Ruby House" experience. We regret that you left feeling that you did not have that 100% from us -- for whatever the reason.
We really hope that if you are in the area again, you will stop in and give us the opportunity to make this right with you.
Until then, we appreciate your feedback and wish you safe travels and happy dining!
Thanks again ~

It is exactly as I expected. The service was great and food excellent and as it was off season it was reasonable busy , a good sign in a town with a population of 270 if I remember correctly. I did not try another restaurant but I don't think they could beat Ruby House

We are glad that you enjoyed your meal with us and hope you will return to see us again sometime! (You are right, there are other good places to eat in Keystone - but we like to think we are one of the best, or at least we try to be! :-)
Thank You Again!

Very good food, great service...connects up with the red garter saloon for a super choice of adult beverages, or whatever...

It was fun to step inside and feel transported back to the 1800's. The decor is old west Victorian with great pictures and memorabilia on the walls. Try the Walleye, a local caught fish, or the Buffalo stew. And don't miss the bread pudding!!!
