We went to this resturant based on a recommendation of the hotel clerk. It is under new management and she ( Kathy) is trying out different entrees, etc. So the finally menu maybe different than when we ate. Service was good and the food was great. We mentioned to Kathy, the fact that there were no salads or other vegetarian-type food. She was very apologetic and explained that she did not realiize that all salads had been taken off the menu.

The house salad that came with the meal was excellent. Our server was new, but still did a good job. Overall. this was a good place to eat. The menu is rather limited, but it is better than most places in the immediate area.

High prices and poor service. We ate breakfast there once. The food was cold. We did not order off of the buffet because it did not have much food left. The eggs were cold and had definately come off of the buffet.

We went there for dinner and it was absolutely disgusting. we both got the buffet, the prime rib and buffalo looked like it had been out for hours and the flies looked like the were enjoying it. There was nobody at the carving station. The side dishes were very bland and generic, the friend fish? was hard and gross. The salad bar was ok. The waiters were screwing around and service was horrible. Wouldnt touch this place with a 10 foot pole. If you want a decent meal try Ruby House or Peggys, we enjoyed them both, but Railhead was CRAP!

My partner and I went to an evening dinner at the Railhead on Sept 24th, 2011. We ate around 7:30 p.m. The place was not busy so we thought it was a good pick.... WRONG!!!!! We both had the salad bar and the Prime Rib ... I think they charged something like 13 or $14.99.... this did not even include your soda with the meal. Staff were no where to be found... they came and took are order and then left. They never asked how things were and if we wanted a refill on are drink. The Prime Rib ( which I love) ... was dry and burned from the heat lamps. The salad bar was average... I also could not help but notice the staff that I did see taking dirty dishes from a table and then filling up glasses of pop for another table.... OMG WASH YOUR HANDS!!!!
