This place was recommended to us by a local so we figured it must be good. We were impressed... our family of 8 all enjoyed everything we ordered. We each had water but each ordered food... taco salad, pizza, calzone etc and it $42 for all of us. Pizza and calzones were awesome! Taco salad looked good (I did not taste it but the person who ordered it liked it). The people working were nice as well. We would go back. Only negative was a worker smoking not far from us on the patio for her break, luckily we were about done eating. Not a fan of smoking near food or kids.

We liked the outdoor atmosphere. Pizzas were pricey but full of toppings and delicious. The staff was friendly and brought food out to our tables. Refills were free on pitches of soda.

Checked out trip advisors reviews in Keystone, as we looked for a bite to eat waiting for the evening program at Mount Rushmore.

Went with family of 5. Thought the price for a 14" pizza ($18-21) was a little much, but based on NY pizzas (usually 18") we ordered two, since we thought we would need much more that one pie.

Boy, were we wrrong. The pies were thick, cheesy, and the meat and veggie pizzas were filled with toppings. We brought nearly an entire pie back to the hotel, for lunch the next day. Qualaity was much better than I expected (soft/thick crust type). No room for ice cream, which looked awesome.

Beautiful, quaint town to walk around after dinner. Got back to Rushmore with plenty of time to spare.

I spent the summer in Keystone working at a hotel, and I must say that Janes Boardwalk Pizza is the best place in town for Pizza, Ice Creams, and daily specials. The pizza is amazing and they do not skimp on toppings or cheese at all! Also the selection of ice creams and specialty soda's is very nice if you are just looking for a nice place to relax and have a snack. The chicken alfredo calzone or pizza was something that i found to be very good as well. Best of all they always appreciated my business as a so called "local" for the summer. They realize the importance of letting people know that they are appreciated. If your lucky enough to be in town when Jane is running the Hot Beef Sandwich Special (Roast beef, gravy, bread, mashed potatoes) you better buy two so you can eat one and have one for supper because it is that good. Jane knew how much i enjoyed the special that she asked me what day was good to offer it during one week, there is no one else who would do that! Amazing. One last thing I almost forgot is that Janes is the most affordable place on the boardwalk and probably in town. They are so deserving of the top spot on Trip Advisor and I am very happy to finally see them there. Thanks to Jane and her crew!

The pizza was very good. It has a really good sauce and lots of cheese. We were not planning on eating here, but certainly glad we did. It is a store front along the boardwalk with tables outside. They are also opened later than most other restaurants in the area.
