“Great family long weekend”
Reviewed July 4, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

We were a group of 4 adults, three children and a dog. Plenty space for more people if required the house is massive. Peter the owner lives next door and always made sure that the hot tub was ready for use and made us feel very welcome. The house has a large kitchen with great facilities to cook for a big party. Comrie village is a reasonably short walk from the house. The local Fish and Chip Shop serves nice food although the portions were a bit on the small side for me (The Haggis chaser sorted that out though) Crieff Hydro is also a short drive away. All in our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the house and will hopefully book again at some point in the future.

Thank you very much Peter for your hospitality.

Cheers,

Paul

“Good place for a relaxing hen party.”

We really enjoyed staying at this house. This was a very good stay. There was everything that we needed. It was in a good quiet location. Be careful for driving over the bridge from the main road. We seen lots of wildlife and the walk to Comrie was nice where we found a nice place to eat.

The hot tub worked the first night. We switched it on about 1pm in the Saturday and still at 5pm it wasn't working. We contacted the owners and we were informed we needed to place a towel to stop the lid from completely shutting as it was heavy with water and it kept switching it off. We had a quick response from the owners. After this advice it worked after leaving it for the few hours to let it heat up.

The rooms were all a good size and it fitted the 10 of us comfortably. The dining room and kitchen were of good size and everything that we needed. We would definitely stay here again however it could do with some redecoration.

“Wonderful Weekend Away”
Reviewed March 29, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

We rented Easter House of Ross for a quiet hen weekend. We had such a wonderful time. On arrival our hosts had bread baking for us, which was not just tasty, but made the house smell lovely and inviting. The house itself is huge. We only had 8 people. Plenty of room to sit and chat in the sitting room or get round the table for dinner. The kitchen is lovely and has every modern appliance you could possibly need for your stay. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful. No better way to have a relaxed weekend than to sit, soak, and chat. The only downsides: 2 showers for 8 ladies is a bit of a stretch (but we knew that when we rented it) & parts of the house could use a little TLC and/or cobweb removal. But I don't hold those things against them in terms of my star rating. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely visit again.

“Hen Party”
Reviewed February 17, 2017 for a stay in February 2017

We had a lovely time. House was fab and plenty of room for all 11 of us - bedrooms were amazing - absolutely massive. Young ones had a ball in the hot tub - cooking facilities were first class. Only downside - it was zero degrees in February and on the first night we just could not get the living room to heat up - used 2 bags of logs and bag of kindling (which had to be for extra - £20 left in honesty box for this) there were radiators but they were just not enough to heat this massive house and couldnt be turned up - however, found a couple of heaters on the Saturday and they woon sorted the place out with some real heat.

“Happy Hot Tub”

This is located on the edge of Comrie - luckily my friend knows the area so we found it okat. House is big and could scream luxury. Fire was lit on arrival and the bread maker was cooking nicely. Hot Tub was the highlight of this trip. Nice property in a great rural area. I think to make the most of this home - it needs some love. Get rid of the carpet in the bathroom and put some flooring in. Modernise the bedrooms and bathrooms. Lovely property - just needs TLC. Would stay again regardless.

Just back from a great weekend here. I will say the house has so much potential, it is currently very dated and in some places quite unclean. The showers had old hairs lying about and old bars of soap. The dishes all needed a good wash before we used them at breakfast. It was at times quite cold, maybe our fault for not reading the book about the heating. The bedding didn't smell the freshest. It needs a good lick of pain and some new carpets. And a really good deep clean!!
