This was our 4th visit to Foxhills and, once again, it didn't disappoint. We go with a group of friends to play tennis, golf and generally have fun. We can't fault anything - from the fabulous rooms to great facilities and exceptionally helpful staff - especially Ian in the restaurant, who always looks after us with great care. There is something for everyone - whether or not you're sporty. Love running through the woods and come rain or shine, the spa is great. We've already booked our dates for next year.

Room Tip: We like the rooms in Lyme House best

I travel to the UK twice a year or so for business and for the past 10 years I have stayed at Foxhills. It is convenient to Heathrow airport (20 min) and to businesses along the M3 and M4 corridors. The grounds at Foxhills are lovely, the rooms are large and well done, they have free wifi through out the property, decent food and pleasant staff. They also have a beautiful new spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fabulous gym, tennis and two excellent 18 hole golf courses as well as 9 hole par 3 that is very well kept.

We had a fantastic day at Foxhills, we had our Wedding there on Friday 30 September 2011. The Weather was glorious, it was amazing. Foxhills as a venue is beautiful, it has everything you need, fantastic golf course, spa facilities, leisure facilities including an outdoor pool and a wonderful restaurant. All the staff at Foxhills were fantastic, they made our day so special, Emma, Alex, Ian & Tracy were brilliant - couldn't ask for a better team! The food on the day of the Wedding was amazing. If you are looking for a Venue for your Wedding or any other occasion, we can highly recommend Foxhills!
Thank you again to all the staff - fantastic!!

Booked spa day for friend's birthday treat - neither of us had visited before. Staff at the Spa were very helpful and friendly and the facilities are good but there are disappointments e.g toilets in the changing rooms aren't handy if you're coming from the pool area, seating in pool area is limited and not practical if you're dripping wet to sit on cloth covering! Robe quickly got damp....biggest problem was access to cafe/restaurants if you're in the spa. We had to get changed, walk to Bar 19 to eat/drink then come back to the spa to undress and get ready for massage/facials. Other places you can wander around at leisure between spa, pool, treatment zones, relaxation space and eating areas which is much more relaxing! Guess they've 'tacked' health spa on to existing golf club/hotel so it doesn't quite fit.

Arrived after our wedding having had our room up-graded , bottle of wine waiting with a card , very happy at this stage. The room was very nice , separate lounge area , well decorated, all seemed well. Had our first meal in the Manor Restaurant , slow service ruined the evening when the food was actually very nice. Creepy , over friendly restaurant manager didn't help matters just reinforced our opinion that we would not use it again. Had a similar experience in Bar 19 , too busy setting up for the morning to clear plates and produce our food. Reception staff snooty , didn't like our negative feedback , suggest customer care courses in the near future. Breakfast usually cold , dried up left over food, uninterested staff , my husband asked for 2 fried eggs ,took so long assumed they had gone to look for the chickens !
Location lovely , great walk around the golf course and the spa had some great treatments but the overall impression was that it was geared for the golfers and regular members. Such a shame as it really is a lovely place.

Just wanted to say that we have eaten at The Manor restaurant a few times over past years and the food has always been good but was noticeably excellent when my husband and I were there last week - compliments to the chef. Keep up the good work!

I had the pleasure of spending an almost perfect night and day at Foxhills.

On arrival was directed to my room in Lyne House. Huge room and bathroom, clean and beautifully decorated. Under floor heating throughout the room was on which made the room a bit too hot for the unseasonably warm weather we had been having but I can imagine this would be very luxurious in Winter. The heating was turned off later that day making the room a lot more comfortable and there was a good portable fan stored in the cupboard.

Dinner was the only very slight disappointment the main restaurant although very pleasant did not have the same wow factor as the rest of the property. We also ordered some room service which was lovely and huge portions.

Such a relaxing place to be had a great sleep and woke up the next morning very refreshed and tucked into a delicious breakfast before hitting the spa for some serious pampering. The communal areas are great with a huge pool and indoor Jacuzzi, lovely spa garden with hammocks, I particularly enjoyed the outside hot tub. And the massage and facial were fantastic.

Overall a great stay would recommend to anyone needing a nice relaxing break even for just a night. I will be back for sure.

Room Tip: Lyne House have beautiful modern rooms
