We were thrilled to find this lovely place after our Mt. Rainier climb. Beautiful location with a sunny central meadow surrounded by trees, feels secluded despite being near the road. The cabins are carefully maintained and being restored by the new owners, with meticulous attention to detail and kept very clean. Comfortable beds, high quality linens and plush towels, well stocked kitchenette. We appreciated the welcome basket with coffee, tea, sugars/creamers (not the awful powdered stuff) and cocoa, etc.
We were in Cabin 9 with shared hot tub, which was very convenient for soothing our sore muscles after a summit day. The cabin is compact but has all you need for two people, including nice touches like a USB charger on one nightstand, and a gas fireplace for heating, plus electric heater in bath room. The shower is very small, worked well for us, but could be tight if you are very large/tall. There was a ceiling fan as well, but we didn't need to use, as the windows allowed a nice cross breeze.
Outside there are picnic tables for each cabin, plus a nice campfire ring for the whole area. The hosts were thorough and helpful, and the binder in the cabin covered every topic you would need. We appreciated being able to book one night only which was arranged via phone.
Great place, we could envision coming here for a week and exploring all the nearby areas. Perfect!More
