Hadn't been to Rod's in many years and returned for dinner last night. It was much better than we remembered. We had a reservation and were seated promptly which was a plus as the restaurant was extremely busy. There is a bar area that was filled with mostly younger people and loud music. We sat in the dining room on the other side of the bar and there was a band playing, but it was at a level where we could easily hear each other. The food prices were expensive, but well worth it and the crab cakes dinner was outstanding as was the steak. The portions are very large and well presented, but the Caesar salad was little bland, but still tasty. There is valet parking which is a plus. The service was rather slow, but in their defense, they were very busy. I would highly recommend Rod's.
