I recently became a member of Fosterfields & Cooper Gristmill after taking yet another visitor here to Fosterfields or a tour of the Willows. We were the only two people on the tour and had a pleasant time after the house tour, walking around the ground. My favorite visit was for the Horseradish Festival in 2012. Have not yet met the piglets recently birthed but can't wait!

Stopped in for a visit one day with our kids. It was a nice place but have had no desire to go back. This was just a regualr day with no special events at Fosterfields which is why it may have seemed a bit uninteresting. The old house was sweet though and one of the ladies who worked there was very nice and showed the kids' how to do laundry the "old fashioned" way.

My husband and I visited Forsterfields during the NJ Wine Festival last Fall. Nice park, provides a real peek into what living on a colonial working farm would have been like. Still a working farm. Also a nice location for a wine festival.

We used to visit here for the Sheepdog trials. I was so surprised that it one of the Morris County Parks. It's great. The grounds are very nice and it's a living historical farm so there will be people actually working here just the same way they would have been doing it a couple of hundred years ago.

Great outdoor activity for family or couples.
Lots to look at as you walk around the farm; watch your step....you might find presents from the cows or horses.
Volunteers are sweet and give a lot of information about the farm.
Bring your camera!!
