“No plans to visit again”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

I stopped in today and ordered the lunch special. The salad was a joke, a scattering of iceburg lettuce and a few strips of carrots. About 3 bites worth. The tom-yum soup was tasty. The Pad-see-ew did not taste good. It consisted mostly of frozen, water-logged vegetables, with a couple of noodles and pieces of chicken thrown in.

It is now 9 hours later and I have been having gastro problems for a few hours now. I eat a lot of spicy food, and this has never happened before. Not to mention, the food was really not that spicy, considering I asked for it with medium spice.

The waitress and owner were very friendly and attentive, but the food was awful, and I would not dine there again

“A wonderful find in Morristown. Have the duck!”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

Although we have been living in Europe for the last 12 years, we return to Sirin every trip home. We discovered them before we went overseas, as we love Thai food. Even with all the dishes we have sampled in Europe, the Hong Hern duck still stands above the rest. It is absolutely wonderful, and is often a special on the menu. Everything they serve is creative, excellent and flavorful, but the duck cannot be surpassed. Sirin is a small BYOB family owned restaurant, with friendly but not overbearing service. It is not inexpensive, but is worth the prices charged. The curry puffs are also a wonderful starter-light and very tasty.
Try this unique one of a kind business. We have dined there with our families, friends, and alone as a couple, and have never been disappointed.

“Best food and service, and don't forget the amazing Duck!”
Reviewed April 27, 2013

It was our first time at Sirin and it was the most memorable experience for all 4 of us. We had 4 starters and 4 different entrees, a few desserts and cappuccinos. They were all amazing. The hostess explained all questions we had about the spiciness, and the food came out just like we asked. The signature duck and specials were out of this world! The entire staff is attentive and pleasant even on a Saturday night before the theater show at 8pm. I felt so satisfied with my experience that I had to write a review.

However, we just read a misleading review and funny enough we happened to be seated next to this couple that I am sure wrote this review! First the couple never mentioned about any appetizer being salty until the waitress came to collect their empty plates! They commented so loud that not only we heard but I am sure the whole room heard. The manager politely informed her that she wished they had said something sooner, but she would gladly remove the dish from the bill. We were surprised they wrote such a horrible review even though they finished everything even their entrees! Its amazing that even with the restaurant’s hospitality and outstanding food, people can even complain (especially after the food was complimentary!).

We enjoyed everything and we cannot wait to return to Sirin Thai!

“Disappointing”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

Slow service, appetizer very salty, entrees had a strange taste, and this is one of those places that charge for soda refills. Ended up being $75 for 2 entrees and a soda. Appetizer was taken off bill which was nice.

“Nice surprise”
Reviewed April 5, 2013 via mobile

Right around the corner from the Mayo Performing Arts Center. We were there very early, just after five, so we got loads of personal attention. We had two different duck dinners, both of which were excellent. They told us that duck was their specialty and they went through sixty every week. The duck ka-pow had lots of green peppers, which were not listed as ingredients on the menu, and I do not like peppers, but I mentioned it (not complained) and it was removed and replaced, with apologies, promptly. The plating was very nice, and the chef came to the table several times to make sure all was well. Not cheap, about 90 including tip, for one appetizer and the two dinners, but the duck made it worth it.
