“Expensive but tasty.”
Reviewed October 12, 2012 via mobile

It was an enjoyable visit to a Morristown favorite. The service was great and the food good and tastefully presented. My With Cajun seasoning was ok by a small serving. The Cjatham Cod was rather bland. A good time was had but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again.

“Great Steak, Nice Wine”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

Had a very nice Fois Grois Appetizer. The filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly! The salmon was also very good. Great atmosphere! Love the wine flights! Service was good!

“Food Is Good, Loud Ambiance, Drinks Not OK If You Expect Alcohol”
Reviewed September 12, 2012

We were 4 adults dining on a Saturday night at 7:30 in September 2012. Our waiter was pleasant and attentive. Ordered a couple of rounds of mixed drinks and each of us commented that there was barely any alcohol in them. Appetizers were especially good. Stuffed calamari was delicious. Salads were fresh and satisfying. Fish entrees were nothing special with disappointing portions. Restaurant was crowded and noisy to a point where we had a very difficult time hearing each other without speaking loudly. Would not mind going back, but overall, not any place we would kill ourselves to go back to.

“Excellent chef, creative dishes”
Reviewed August 29, 2012

Started with an excellent Caesar salad, other guests had a very creative fruit appetizer that they raved about. The Louisiana red fish was delicious, very spicy cajun style with even spicier chopped peppers. Someone said the breast of duck was fabulous. All the dishes were presented beautifully and every entree had its own special accompaniments, not one of these places where every platter has the same vegetable. The desserts were gorgeous and scrumptious. Only problem was that it is not inexpensive.
Seemed to also have a lively bar scene.

“a pleasant evening with good food and drink”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

We spent a pleasant evening at an outdoor table with attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff. The menu is upscale and well thought out. Food is pricey but delicious. We shared the special appetizer - a slab of watermelon trimmed with thinly sliced kielbasa, macerated cherries and tarragon. Very refreshing. My husband had the falling-off-the-bone St. Louis ribs - the tri-color pepper slaw was pretty but he thought it too mayonnaise-y. I had seared duck breast - tender and rare - with braised bok choy and shiitakes. Yum! To make drinks more affordable, try the "flights" - my husband had the beer sampler, and I tried both the white and red wine samplers. We'll be back.
