This property is overlooked by apartments opposite whose occupants look directly down into the cottage living broom and bedroom which is illuminated by a street lampost about 18 inches from the bedroom window. Further, about 30 yards across the road is a public house, "The Albion" which has karaoke weekends, the policy appearing to be, "They can't sing, turn the volume up!" Monday mornings at around 06.00 is the time the draymen arrive to collect the many empty barrels and replace with full ones, combined with a lot of shouting etc. The cottage is on a busy thoroughfare, there is another pub, "The Red Lion", which is well patronised at the other end of the street, many people passing stop and peer through the living room window every day, there are no net curtains for privacy on the living room window. Access to the cottage is not through the front door shown on the website, it is down an entry (passing smelly refuse bins) but by the back door.
Very central but quiet, good kitchen to cook in, lovely bedroom and shower room up the steep stairs, perfectly adequate living room. Will definitely return. Excellent service from the owner / agent.
Nice little cottage with very good location to the sea frount and the town ,as it's just st off the main road it was nice and quiet at night too.
The location was central and only around the corner from the beach . We're grateful we went when we did / great get away for the weekend for us. The cottage is lovely & homely. The area is quiet but was off season although all the tourist shops were still open . Explored a lot. Locals were friendly & welcoming. Blessed as managed to attend an evening service at the Cromer church in the centre - really lovely . Thank you Sasha also , no problems on booking . We look forward to coming back in 2018!
Perfectly located for beach, shops, church and eateries. Parking was a walk away but manageable. Very imaginative use of small space, well kitted out kitchen & more than enough storage upstairs. Can recommend Red Lion, No.1 Fish & Chips, & deli. Location excellent for exploring up coast to Hunstanton and down towards Great Yarmouth. Also loved Horsey Windmill, Sandringham & Blickling Hall. A first visit to Norfolk and really loved it - a week wasn't long enough to do everything so will just have to come back!
Nice place went Friday to Mon Stay family 80th & 70th Birthday Party. The place is right in the centre but there is no parking. We parked at my sister.Lovely Welcome pack of goodies bread butter milk cake biscuits tea coffee sugar, all washing up things . Only thing we did find wrong was need Black out Blind in the Bedroom it was to light with the street Lamp on all night.

We were looking for a Hotel in Cromer but could not find what we wanted. We decided to look for a self catering lodge for the weekend. Found the Fisherman's cottage that fitted the bill very central to Everything in Cromer. Having booked through tripadvisor the dealings with mark was excellent. The cottage was an easy walk from the station 15mins. It was well equipped with all you need in the Kitchen, and the welcome pack of Home made cake and fresh bread and milk was very nice. The rooms were large enough for the 2 of us and the bed very comfy. As in all old cottages the stairs are steep and narrow risers so we ended up going up and sideways. We loved our time here and would use this accommodation again when we return to Cromer.
