We booked this hotel for a Valentines get away and were thoroughly delighted with the location, the friendliness and attentiveness of the owners, the fabulous breakfast and the comfort (and cleanliness) of the room..
Cannot recommend enough!

Parking could be an issue but we found a spot on a street about 300 yards away and all was well

My husband and I and our 5 month old puppy stayed for the weekend over carnival and were so well looked after by Richie and Karen. Everything had been carefully thought out from the proper coffee and delicious biscuits in the bedroom to the delicious home cooked breakfast served each morning. Even the puppy had been thought of with dog bowls and food left for it. The rooms were spotless and spacious. A great location from which to explore the Norfolk coast made even more so by the fact that we were made to feel so welcome. We will be back.

We have just returned from an excellent 3 day stay. Our bedroom was large, very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Large bathroom with separate shower and clean towels provided daily. Karen & Richard made us feel very welcome. The food
both dinner on the first night and breakfasts were absolutely fabulous resulting in the need for us to do some serious dieting. We will definately recommend Wellington House to anyone wishing to stay in Cromer.

We were met with a big friendly welcome from Karen who insisted on taking care of our luggage whilst I parked the car. Free on road parking is available just a hundred yards away. What a delight these days!
The room was large, airy, spotless and beautifully furnished to match the ambience of the room. The bathroom was also roomy and well equipped with large shower and comfortable sized bath (I am six foot and such things are a rarity). In these days of hotels becoming more frugal it was a pleasant surprise to see all the toiletry goodies available for use, we have become accustomed to having to carry our own around with us. In the evening we had a pleasant walk around the town and ate at the Red Lion.
We probably enjoyed our best nights sleep for a long time. The bed was comfortable, the linen crisp, the duvet warm and luxurious and the pillows beautifully soft but still giving enough support for a good rest through a peaceful night.
Breakfast was first:rclass buffet self service for a wide range of cereals and juice, fresh filter coffee from the machine, forgot to ask Karen what beans she uses but the taste was great. Tea drinkers are also well looked after. When Karen arrived with the freshly cooked 'Full English' my day was complete; staggering since I had only been awake for an hour. I asked for Kippers for the next days breakfast, which was even better. Karen had learned the fisherman's way of cooking a kipper that lifts the flesh right off the bone.
We stayed just the two nights but that has whetted our appetite and we will certainly stay again, perhaps for the Crab Festival. I am also determined to check out Richard's bookshop that is just two doors away. Many thanks to Karen and Richard for the warmth and enthusiasm of their hospitality.

Room Tip: Both first floor doubles are excellent but the one above the dining room is more roomy.

We stayed at The Wellington for 1 night on Feb 2nd 2013.Firstly i was very impressed how Karen and Rich kindly let us rearrange our date(due to snow) with no hassle at all and were very helpful in welcoming us to come and stay at there B&B.
Karen made us very welcome when we turned up and we were very impressed with the lovely little place.
Our room was lovely, clean, warm and very comfortable. The Bathroom itself is lovely and if you love a good soak then you`ll love the bath we had in our room!!
Overall we loved staying at The Wellington, its in a lovely street in Cromer with some lovely places to visit.
We also had a lovely Breakfast in the morning too, with loads of local produce to be tempted by.
If you`re in Cromer or heading that wat then i would definitely recommend The wellington, thanks Karen and Rich.

We stayed there for the weekend. It is in an excellent location, close to all the amenities. Rich and Karen made us both really welcome. The food was really nice and our room was spacious and had everything we needed it in.
We hope to be returning there again very soon!

Bev and Andy from Norfolk.

Room Tip: All were excellent and newly refurbished.

The rooms were clean and airy, huge bathroom with a big tub to soak in. On New street, in Cromer itself, so I suspect it may be a little noisy when busy in summer, but was fine when I was there in the evening - had a good night's sleep. The bathroom overlooked a pub/restaurant courtyard out back, but with the bathroom door closed you wouldn't know it was there.

Breakfast was good. Fry up, but I think they had kippers too. Tea making facilities in the rooms, and some lovely biscuits too.

There was a quirky French couple with a tiny tiny dog staying, so they allow you to bring pets. They asked me if I minded if the dog was in the breakfast room, and would be happy if I didn't want it there (I didn't mind) and it all went to add a certain eccentric air to the affair.
