I visited the cafe this week with my mother and 1 year old.
First impressions were good, the cake looked yummy, the tea was cheap and the staff were lovely.
This all changed though with our first meeting of the manager who brought through our tea to the conservatory. As my mum was putting up the high chair I asked him to put our tea on another table until we could manouvre more easily! His response......'That buggy will have to be put outside when we start to fill up'
Ignoring this we enjoyed our tea and cake and the staff happily heated baby food.
Before we were finished one of the lovely girls had quite obviously been sent over to clear our table - she was clearly embarassed as she did so.
On leaving I noticed the main cafe was empty........therefore it would appear the manager was more concerned about the customers he didnt have than the 2 he did!!
Even that evening my mum was still in disbelief about the experience - such a shame as we have a holiday home in Cromer that we visit weekly and would have happily given regular custom.
