We had a lovely meal on a Sunday evening, although as this cafe isn't open every evening we were very lucky to have landed here on our first night staying in Cromer for the Arts Festival. It is unpretentious and very friendly. The menu is small, usually a good sign and here it means that the food is all home cooked. We ate the two specials, sea food chowder and Thai chicken curry, both freshly prepared and delicous. Crab specials are served in season. Good puddings and cakes too, again all cooked in house. All looked really delicious, although we were only able to try one or two. Gluten free cakes are also served here, the coconut macaroons are superb! An excellent range of coffees and teas, one of the very few places we have found to serve freshly ground decaffeinated coffee.

Correct opening times are available on our website where you can also sign up to our newsletters and updates for any changes in times or special menus etc!

We are glad you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you again soon.

A fantastic place, great food, very reasonably priced, served by friendly and informative staff. Often overlooked as its everso slightly off the beaten track. It shouldn't be overlooked. Lovely!

Tony and I found the Bistro in 2011 when we were staying in Cromer and we so enjoyed the food and the Juke Box that we emailed in advance of our arrival this year to book for an evening meal. I chose Falafel which I had not tried before and the chef explained the dish and it was delicious. During our week we tried most of the items on the menu between us and we were never disappointed. The choice of meals, cakes and desserts at affordable prices was brilliant. We also had coffee and a snack during a day in Cromer and found the coffee to be very good.

We recommended the Bistro to several people we met and we will be back next year when we hope the Juke Box is fixed as it is a great feature. Keep up the good food and service.

Thank you very much! We are glad you enjoyed your visit to Cromer and were pleased with your return vists to us!

Unfortunately the Wurlitzer Jukebox still isn't back to full working order; due to it being an original it isn't always very easy to get the parts or fix! I would certainly hope it will be back to normal come your next visit (especially as we have several new '45's' for it!).

Thank you once again for taking the time to review us.

Kind Regards
