Having not stayed in an all inclusive hotel before, but knowing Icmeler well & being used to half board we were a bit dubious about staying here. Wow what a surprise. We arrived at 1am on 28th June, we had a warm welcome from Firtek on reception, were given a refreshing drink & quickly shown to our 3rd floor room. Getting up we found we had a lovely side sea view, our room was really clean with a comfortable double bed & a decent size shower room. There is plenty to choose from at Breakfast with fried eggs & omelettes cooked to order if you want them.
We always ate outside on the terrace which overlooks the Canal. The pool is a bit small but we always went to the Beach which is only 50m away ,with free sunbeds & where Ramazan the friendly beach man always took good care of us. Most days we went to the hotel for something to eat during the day where there was a good variety to eat of salads, cheese, meats & desserts & with the bar open all day......brilliant. The evening meal also offered a wide range of dishes & the Chefs were also using the barbecue, try the kebab meat & the rice with Lamb in it or the wraps mmmmmm.
All the staff here are friendly & cannot do enough for you, but a special thanks to Firtek, Deena & Unus on the reception, Selman & Ufuk at the bar, Mehmet, Barut & Memet in the restaurant, the Chefs, Seluk & Nuh ( cant remember the others ) our maid on the 3rd floor & again to Ramazan on the beach. We really liked our first stay in an all inclusive hotel & Icmeler is a lovely resort to go to we will go back again & probably to the Fortuna Beach.

I'm writing this review although we did not even get to stay here.
My wife and I booked a suite with sea view in May 2013. We booked for 9th September 2013 for 7 nights. Today 5th Sept we received an email saying the hotel had overbooked so they were cancelling our booking. 4 days notice! I checked this hotel and they still had rooms available though be it standard twin rooms but at a price more than we paid for our suite in May. It does not take a genius to work out what this hotel is doing. It is making sure it gets the bookings by starting cheap but if demand picks up they will drop your booking at a drop of a hat and rebook at a higher cost. This is a total disgrace and there is nothing that can be done. I was offered alternative accommodation but was less superior to what we had booked. We are not snobs but if you pay for something that's what you expect to get. We have asked for FULL refund on hotel which we are entitled to and we luckily found a lovely little place at a fraction of the cost. I suppose you can say we were lucky it didn't happen on arrival and we think that as well.
I think people should be really careful when booking this hotel as reading revues it tends to have a bit of a reputation for overbooking. If you do book it I would book late so they don't get a chance to resell your room.
Personally I would stay well clear of this place

Fortuna beach.....after looking at many different hotels we decided to opt for this one, based on reviews off here.
Well, firstly the positives, the location is amazing, stunning scenery and weather is faultless!
Now for the negatives!
hotel is small and dated. Rooms are very clean but need upgrading. The pool area is small but clean and not enough
beds! The food is shocking!! This is mainly due to the fact that the hotel is geared towards Germans and the food and drink reflect that! On an all inclusive we ate out 3 nights out of 6. But we were told by returning guests that the food has improved and most of the hotels are the same. Staff are pleasant enough, and work very hard! I think you get what you pay for here, but do not be fooled by reviews, or the star rating-2* only!!

We arrived at this hotel, about three in the morning, no hassle checking in, and was offered food and drinks on arrival, which was really appreciated. The hotel, it self is small, and was a bit dissapointed at the size of the pool, but the private beach, was lovely and in the temperatures of over 40 degrees the breeze was welcomed. Ramazan the sun bed man was always there, to arrange sunbeds for us. The hotel, is a bit tired looking, but was kept extremely clean by the cleaners, and our view over the canel, and sea area were lovely. Only being two of us, we had a twin room with single beds, and was on the small size, but was cleaned daily fresh towels etc, by the cleaners. The food was quite repetitive, over the two week sta, and the entertainment was non existent. Overall the staff, Selman the bar man, the cleaners, and security were lovely friendly people, who worked very long hours. This was a lovely, relaxing no frills place to stay, on a lovely resort

Returned from 2 weeks on 2nd Sept.
We arrived at 3am and check-in was excellent. View of canal and sea was awesome from our room but due to our party of 3 we decided to upgrade to a suite where we had plenty of room, 2 balconies and still amazing views!
Hotel is a bit tired but super clean. Food was fine considering its a 3 star but a bit repetitive.
Staff work really hard and some were friendlier than others as tends to be the case in most places. We found Behrat to be a lovely guy and "smiley" the porter who's face lit up as soon as he saw you which was charming. The maids were also lovely, Ramiezen the beach attendant always had a smile and always found us a sun-lounger each.
Entertainment wasn't great. My overall feeling about Fortuna Beach was that it was excellent value for money with a personal family-run feel in a fab location, it could just do with a spruce up in parts.

Myself and my boyfriend had a two week holiday this August for the first time in Turkey. We stayed at the Fortuna Beach Hotel and thought it was a fantastic little hotel.
We were greeted at 2am at reception by Unis (not sure of spelling) who was very friendly and gave us a drink and something to eat which was brilliant as we were both starving.
We ended up in a suite and we could see the canal and the sea - amazing view!
The rooms were very clean and were cleaned daily with fresh towels everyday. The cleaners were always really friendly too.
We always managed to get a sun lounger around the pool and loved the fact that the sun loungers on the beach were also free. The only niggle was the music around the pool was soooo boring and was constantly repeated. I did however enjoy the aqua aerobics and dancing with Carlos in the morning - that was lots of fun.
Carlos was always up for a laugh and hosted some great entertainment evenings. We enjoyed the Turkish night and the Mr Fortuna which my boyfriend took part in.
We found the food to be of a good standard and there was always something for us to eat. We did get a bit fed up of always eating at the hotel so did eat out a couple of nights.
We had a Turkish bath one evening which was lovely and really good value for money.
As the hotel is at the side of the canal and there are restaurants and bars more or less outside this meant that if we had an early night the music was sooo loud we couldn't sleep.
Staff such as Selman, Ufuk and Mehmet were amazing - always friendly and helpful

We would definitely stay here again.
