went to this hotel late october, the hotel was recommended so i thought it would be ok.
the actual hotel was lovely, the pool great the room clean but very small.the food was not that good at all lots of choice but it was only kept warm not hot,so two very well tummies.reported to rep and head waiter.air con noisy and we were fobbed off by reception staff that they would turn it off.entertainment had stopped or so you would think it was awful.no reply from a letter sent to thomson.

hotel very clean, stayed on the fifth floor of main building .the air con was noisy,so turned it off and left the door open, which did the trick, most of the food was very good, lots of salads, hot veg was over cooked, there was so much choice you can eat lots if you wish. cooked salmon was perfect, some of the other fish cooked far to much. some very good Turkish desserts over the Ede weekend. dinning room was a bit of a let down, table settings was not 5 star ,linen looking worn ,no waiter service for drinks,so first find a table then get drinks, then look over all the food ,there are lots of food areas, some chefs cooking pasta, fish, meat, stir fry, most very good i must say.its very busy ,so it is not a relaxed eating experience. There are lots of pools to choose from , and then there is the beach, lots of pebbles so sea shoes are a must, the water is clean. there are lots of sunbeds plenty to go around. two bars one each end of beach. there are also lots of wasps so beware. I thought the grounds were dimly light at night .

This is a very nice hotel, set amongst trees. The hotel has a good selection of rooms some are in the main hotel the others are set in and around the grounds (if you are disabled in anyway make sure you are located in the main hotel as there are a lot of steps). Our room was very good, we had a main bedroom with a queen size bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinets and a fridge, then a second room which could either be used as a sitting room or a second bedroom with pull out beds. Both rooms had televisions and there was a further wardrobe in the hallway. The bathroom had a walk in shower, a bath with a shower, toilet and sink. Maid service very good. Towels changed every day. The restaurant is a bit spartan, tables in rows and you often have to sit with people you do not know, mind you you get to speak to a lot more people that way. The food is quite good, a very good choice of salads, main courses and of course the desserts were to die for, but towards the end of our stay the quality and variety was definity lower. In fact on our last morning there was only the choice of cornflakes and cocopops (no muesli. croisants or other choices). We went almost at the end of the season and in the last few days of our holiday almost felt "we were in the way". They took almost all the sunbeds and mattressses away, both round the pool and on the beach so bear this in mind. It is quite a walk to both Marmaris and Icmeler but the Dolmus service is wonderful. Only 2TL to go anywhere and they run at almost 10 minutes apart. Marmaris is a much nicer town than Icmeler (we went Iclemer in the evening and felt quite intiminated by the youngsters who were hanging around) but did not stay long -BEWARE make sure you do not get lured into "Toni and Guy" barbers - they are a rip off. My husband got lured in by the guy saying he could have a card with a number on it so he could come back at a later time, He ended up in the chair getting a "turkish shave" then they started on me and nothing I said made them stop they slapped wax on my face and also did some "threading". Then then wanted 160TL and would not let us out of the shop until we had paid!!! Overall this was a good break, but would not go back to this paricular hotel.

We stayed in a family room for a week in May with our 1 year old and 2 year old. Room was good with air conditioning and a good tv. We has a terrace which was great for the children. It's a clean and efficient hotel and the staff are mostly friendly. The parent and toddler group (thomsons) was good for my children as they were too young for the other children's groups but thy looked fun from what I saw. Pools were lovely. The gym was far too hot with no air conditioning which was a shame as a gym was high on our list when we picked a hotel however it did have good machines. Great location on its own stretch of beach. Lovely disco every evening just for the little ones. Can't comment on adult entertainment as we were in bed early most nights. Food and drink was amazing and readily available at all times freshly prepared and something for everyone. Would highly recommend for families.

Really enjoyed my stay here, very pleased with large, clean room in hotel. Grounds lovely and well kept. Beach clean and well kept. (not so keen on the fish that nibbled at your toes!) Lots of wasps about, normal for that time of year apparently.

Food ok, not amazing but always able to find something nice to eat. Went out for Chinese one night just for something different. Had 2 alacart meals very nice.

Beach bar in the evening was lovely big cushions on large decking area low lit lights. Some entertainment disco or live music.

Overall a very relaxing week and looked to book for next May whilst we were still there.

Firstly let me say if you are travelling to Dalaman on a thomson flight your holiday starts once you get on board. Great service, friendly staff, and their prices put Ryanair and easyjet to shame.

The Grand Club Turban, Marmaris. We stayed 15th October 2012 1 week all inclusive.
I had an open mind about an all inclusive have had them before but this was different.

Club Turban is a fantastic resort, set in a gorgeous bay with a forest behind. 4 cpools and one which is adult only. There is a private beach, as well as a jetty where there are plenty of sun beds to relax away from the crowds. The food was great and plentiful with a great variety. The staff were friendly and charming. when we arrived we were checked in quickly and most of our party was upgraded. . Even my standard twin room was great, modern, clean and daily maid service. would definately go back. In fact I am in May 2013.

As Club Turban is located over a large area there are activities for adults and children alike. And you never feel too crowded.,

My wife and I have just come back from a great holiday at Club Turban and I must say we were very impressed. I have, of course, read several previous reviews some iof which left something to be desired, therefore we were a little concerned as we have never visited Tirkey before. Any fears were soon swept away when we arrived. It was in the very early hours and we were tired, but the Hotel had laid on food for those who wanted it and the reception was extremely efficient. We were directed to our room in the grounds of the hotel but there was a slight smell of sewage, so we asked the following day to be moved and it was no problem at all. This was the penultimate week of the season and the staff were tired but nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good and plentyfull with a fantastic choice from Turkish to Chinese. The proximity to the beach was excellent and the water was very clear and clean. Our favourite was the relax pool for adults only as this was very quite and partly shaded, so ideal for a read or just a chat and a dip.We did not take advantage of any of the excursions on offer but instead we hired a Jeep from the local car hire firm. I think this is a must for anyone who likes to get a feel of the place. We travelled all over this penninsula and found the people amazing and when we did eat out the food was second to none. The driving is very easy although the roads are a bit bumpy but well worth the effort. I would not hesitate to recommend this holiday to anyone and I hope you enjioy it as much as we did.The local buses to and from Icmeler and Marmaris are very simple to use and they run about every 5 minutes (Marmaris 2 tl Icmeler 2 1/2 tl)
