Hi,just like to make you aware we never complain,As most people that arrived the same time as us we were told,We don't have aroom for you.for 2 nites we had 2 stay in a HOVEL,we couldn't even shower properly, more water covered the floor than us.there was nothing nice about this room.We got chatting To other English Couple's to find they were just as unlucy. After keeping on at them,we got into our room after 2 nights, which was ok.Food not alot to rave about, they need to learn to cook the omeletes properly.Alcohol was very poor.We love Turkey, first time to Icmeler, would definatly go back. But not to the Verde Hotel.

Room Tip: you have to have what you're given,it doesn't matter at this hotel.

No rooms available for you if your English, either moved to another hotel for a day or 2, or as we had to do sit around getting angrier and angrier until we blew! Food disgusting with little to no choice and the cook in the morning making the omelettes more interested in pointing to her tip box! Rooms adequate, although maid services very very late. More sunbeds needed also. I and my whole party would never go back even if it was a free holiday! Beware British travellers!

On arrival at the hotel we were told that no room was available and that we had to go to another hotel for the night but that a room would be available next morning. Arriving back at the hotel at 10a.m. we were again told the room was not yet ready but to help ourselves to breakfast and the room would be ready in 1 hour. Unfortunately we were still waiting for a room when midday meal was served and were only given a key at 3.30p.m. The room we were given was very nice with a "sea view" and balcony.

Meals were the norm for Turkish all inclusive hotels, the only fault being that "hot meals" were rarely hot and people were having to queue at restaurant opening times to get hot food. Salads were plentiful as were cereals and jams etc. at breakfast time.

The bedroom was very clean with fresh towels and bedding daily.

The swimming pool was very clean but there was a lack of sun umbrellas and those which were available were in poor standing condition. The usual problem of towels on sunbeds was rife with towels being put onto sunbeds before breakfast and some of them still there until mid afternoon when the owners decided they would, at last, use the sunbeds. The Russian and Polish guests were mostly to blame for this happening.

For a 4* all inclusive hotel there was an extreme lack of entertainment both during the day and at night time with just a show two nights a week.

One important problem with this hotel was that very few of the staff had an understanding of English and were impatient when given a problem.

If the hotel can find its way to get around some of the problems it would certainly bee worth visiting again as it was in a very convenient position in Icmeler with the beach and bus route close by, as well as friendly bars nearby i.e. The Irish Bar, Blues Brothers and Gossip where the staff were very friendly and welcomed you to their bar without too much hastle!

We arrived at the Verde Hotel at 2.30am to be told by the receptionist that we had a suprise,we were then told are room was unavailable and technical services were sorting out the electric's.
We were the told we would have to go to another hotel nearby, on arrival at 2nd hotel we were informed they were full.the receptionist then said we would have to go to a 3rd hotel, we were transported to 3 hotel ,given a key and told to come back to the Verde Hotel in the morning around 10 oclock. As you can imagine we were un happy as this smaller hotel had no facilities.just a bed and toilet area. (we had paid for the All inclusive package at the verde)
We finally got are room at 10.30am the following morning. It appears that this problem with over booking is becoming more and more common, many people that we have spoken to have experienced the service regarding checking into rooms, one family waited 3 days before they got there room at the verde.
The hotel rooms are fine spacious good shower rooms and good air conditioning.
On the whole the hotel seems a bit tired and run down, with that in mind if you don't mind basic accomodation and food it's ok, but to say this Hotel has a 4 star rating i think someone has there head in the clouds.
I would not recommend this hotel there are far better hotels in the area with better facilities

On arrival we thought the hotel was closed. We got our room, but had to find our own way to it,the receptionist was not helpful at all.Nearly fell over due to an unsafe hand rail (the next day an elderly gent did)Comfy beds and good air-con.On the first morning the breakfast was ok,but then it was the same everyday.Fresh omelettes made by a miserable young girl,we asked if we could have fried eggs, she replyed by no omelettes only.Well has for lunch and evening meal you can forget it!! It was cold, tasteless and looked vile.We had to eat out every night.
Only one bar,not much of a choice for drinks, they tasted very weak. You could drink all day and feel not much different.
Went to have a look downstairs at the spa area, got as far as the shower room then turned round didn't bother to go further,it was filthy&smelly.
If you are a cat lover, you will love this hotel because its over run with strays both inside and out.People were turning up to find that they were shipped out to other places, due to "maintenance" problems, but they were all English people. It seemed that if you were English, they didn't careless about you.
Nothing to do at this hotel,no animation team, only two nights a week you got entertainment .Found that all staff and managers were not friendly at all, very ignorant at times, especially if you made a complaint .
This was our 5th time to icmeler, never have we experienced anything like this before. It has not put us off going again

On arrival at 2am September 13th we had no room, they told us there was no water or electricity. This was not the case just that they had over booked. This happened to half the guest who were staying here.We got put in a horrific hotel called Igas. The food at hotel verde was cold every night, same food day in day out. The staff were rude, they couldn't care less about our health and safety. They had steep ramps which had very loose hand rails which then broke but they never replaced. They were not bothered that there guest were unhappy and did nothing to put things right. There was not much choice of drinks and what was available they were watered down. There was no entertainment for kids during the day, and very limited on a night. This hotel is not a 4* like is states and will not be returning here however we will be going back to Icmeler as it's beautiful.

Arrived on 13th of september at 3am to find that we had no room because they had over booked howerer they told us aload of lies about maintenance problems. We met over 10 couples that had had the same problem. The staff were the the most ignorant people I have ever met and did not care at all they just take your money. The food was shocking cold chicken 3 times a day and that was pretty much it. Although its all inclusive you wont drink there unless you like watererd down lager and whisky and the drinks pump was constintantly broke. On the second morning an elderly man fell down 4 stairs due to an extremely unstable hand rail he was in tears and 4 of the staff stood there and laughed at him including both managers. There was no entertainment at all and familys with young childeren were bored. However the rooms were average and were clean and tidy. This review would not stop me going back to icmler as its a beautiful place. I am not one to winge about anything but this hotel is duscusting.
