The hotel staff were very friendly, the rooms were very small but kept clean, the food was ok but by the end of the week we were sick of pork & chicken casserole. The real downside was that it was a struggle to get a sunbed whether it be first thing in the morning or any other time, as there are not enough sunbeds for the amount of people staying in the hotel. Also i ended up with an ear infection amongst many other people staying at this hotel, which i have been told is down to an unclean pool. I suggest anybody staying at this hotel wear ear plugs when in the pool.

been to icmeler 15 times and had some nice some not so nice hotels but always had the best times due to the staff who i say are always helpfull .The siesta hotel has got to be the worst hellhole ive ever came across im sure the staff are recruited on their bad manners and long faces the managment are even more arrogant .The all inclusive holiday which we paid for was a joke what was left from lunchtime was recycled for dinner argh and was not cooked on the premises but cooked and sent to our hotel then reheated on top of an oil burner .DRINKS now that was a joke only vodka gin and raki brandy was also on the list but the barman always said none left beer was from draught or you youy had to pay extra for bottled beer .The only good thing about the hotel was clean towels every day .Icmeler is a great placeto stay but please check out the reviews before opting for the SIESTA HOTEL .

My husband and I stayed here for 1 week from Sept 10th 2010. Very good location because you are near to everything but it was peaceful enough to get a decent sleep.
Good points - staff very friendly and helpful. Whatever requests we made were met and they were really pleasant.Rooms were clean but very small bathroom. We didnt mind too much as we were out and about most of the time.
The food, if you are all inclusive is not up to much. Not enough choice and not what I expected (chicken casseroles, fish, chips, plain pasta, salads, soup. The meals in Icmeler to buy were not that expensive so I would go b&b or self catering next time.We were not ill or anything, just bored and sick of chips!!We did make use of the drinks tho - beer, wine (no rose) juice, water, tea coffee and spirits (no whiskey either unless you paid). No icecream on the all inclusive which I thought was poor (luckily we did not have children with us or it could have been costly)Not even at meal times. Drinks out and about in Icmeler about 5 lira for Efes beer, 7-8 lira for local vodka & mixer. The Travellers Rest Yorkshire pub/restaurant has a lovely menu - fish & chips to die for.Just up the road from the Siesta next to Red Lion. Be careful - my father was staying in another hotel and he ordered a beer and gave the waiter 50 lira note. He only gave my dad change back for 10 lira and argued thats what he had been given. My dad only had 50s in his wallet - beware.Icmeler is very nice & would go back. Turunc is worth a visit on the water taxi too - 7lira return. The pool area is very small with not many beds so if you like sun bathing - get out sharp!!

what a terrible hotel, food appaling, not cooked on premise but bought in from another hotel in a dirty van, not covered and then re heated, no real choice , salad, chicken, chips and as forn the afternoon snacks they were limited once again half cooked, deep fried burger, disgusting sausages and chips, what a varied choice. Rooms small and no storage, small toilet/shower which flooded every time you showered. Rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were friendly but when you go all inclusive you need variety with food and space. I will go to Icmeler again but either self catering, b&b or 5* this hotel should have 2*'s knocked of it's rating

Loved the place and hotel we stayed at, loved the staff and turkish people in general we met and talked to. The food choice at the Siesta Hotel was boring. I do not believe it was freshly cooked, it was out of cans. The only meat we were served for lunches and dinners was 80% turkey and 20% beef. You do not expect even at the restaurants to find nice lamb shish kebab. The lamb meat is hardly stocked, and if it is, they freeze it and as it is- frozen, put it on the grill. You get small pieces of lamb for 18 t.lira. This is a genuine comment, based on own experience. Ask the member of staff in a restaurant or kebab shop before you eat if they can show you the meat and you'll see what you eat.
Otherwise, Turkey is magic, lovely ceramic stuff and copper plates, vases. Hotel I'd recommend but on self-catering option only.

Food not up to much lots of salad stuff lots of cold chips. Breakfast was boiled eggs beans corn flakes ect salads tea and coffee. Helped yourself to orange juice and lime juice. Lunch time you got salads soup some sort of meat or fish chips and other bits of THINGS. Afternoon snack was somthing with cold chips hotdog or burger. Dinner time we did not eat at the hotel but the food at all of the places we went to in Icmeler was out standing and it only cost about £15 to £20 for two people three course meal with a drink . Overall icmeler is a lovley place but iwe would stay at a higher star hotel next time we go.

I have been back to the siesta appartments again, and once again they were fantastic, there are some bad reviews on this place but i must stress that is for the Siesta Hotel .......Not The Siesta Apartments, they are completley different one is a big hotel the other is a family run apartment block above the Champagne bar.Yurda And Andrea Go out of there way to make you feel comfortable and welcome ,the rooms are basic but very clean ,with air con, fridge, hairdryer ,cooker, remember this review is for the SIESTA APARTMENTS.
