“Nice but not amazing!”
Reviewed November 23, 2013 via mobile

We arrived through first choice on 30th September and stayed 2 weeks!
Arriving the room was dated and disappointing. The shower door had massive crack and glass missing ! First day at breakfast and it was ok I just had cereal as the pink chicken sausages are not for me! Lunch again ok and dinner ok but the Russians do take over! They push in are rude and are just pigs! The thing is people are starving but they take literally plates full of food and barely touch it! One couple had 11 plates of food on there table before they touched there the soup!

Sunning you need to be up early get a decent spot as again other get there first and the sun goes behind the trees by 3.30!

Lovely walk to ichmeler and shopping there!

- if your a couple or have no kids please not this is a holiday village which was not stated! Kids under 7 are free!!

Went for two weeks at the end of September we had a good time and enjoyed it. The setting is quite and peaceful if you can get the "entertainment team" and I use that word loosely to stop playing boom boom boom music in the afternoon. The food can be repetitive but was very well presented and lunch times seemed to be better than evenings but you can eat all day if you want and also take a walk into Icmeler or Marmaris. You can bus to either of these places for 2.50 each way. - bargain.

Rooms are ok, wouldn't want to live in it but comfortable and kept clean and tidy. staff are very friendly and helpful.

The Russians - We didn't have any problems on our two weeks, no pushing or shoving anywhere. They do seem to like the fruit especially the watermelon and they would take platefuls of it but it never seemed to run out anyway. They liked to dance to the beat music and everyone joined in together.

The entertainment team seemed to think putting on a music disc was enough everyday the same ones pavoroti, boom boom boom and some others. oh and a game of darts every day at 2pm. night time it started at 10pm if you were lucky (or unlucky) depending on what your taste was. They were more playing for themselves than the crowd if you like.

To be fair it was cold at nights and you needed to dance to keep warm and perhaps they could look at what the resturants do and have the plastic blinds that keep the wind off.

If you want a boat trip see Jimmy boy and for a small boat trip which we loved, book the Pirates of Marmaris. What a lovely young couple they are and make your day very enjoyable.

Our original reason for going was to see the dentist Mustapha Asik who can be recommended if you are looking to for any dentistry work. So for us the holidays was a bonus. It is very steppy and slippery if it rains and as stated before not for people with mobility issues. Would I go back probably yes but a bit earlier in the year.

Room Tip: don't have one in the hotel near the entertainment ask for a bungalow

The hotel is lovely but no good for people with walking difficulties as there's steps everywhere. The views are just beautiful set in a pine forest overlooking the sea.Got a private jetty with sunbeds & steps down to the sea & a soft drinks bar there. The hotel is on the walk from Icmeler to Marmaris, it takes 15 minutes to Icmeler & 45 minutes to Marmaris. There's nothing to do at the hotel sowe just sunbathed all day & walked in to the towns of an evening. Food was good with plenty of choice for everyone but they did seem to cater for the Russians more than the English. The only thing I didn't like was the Russians, they drunk too much & they had so much food at mealtimes that you'd think a famine was round the corner, they have also got no manners & you would be barged out of the way.

Room Tip: They say that they provide bungalows but they are 3 storey rooms, we oved as I couldn't cope wit...

A beautifully located hotel with amazing views. However visiting in the last week of the season seems to be an excuse for lack of everything at the hotel. Although end of season is not an excuse for shoddy rooms and shoddy service. We stayed in a small room for three people, the extra bed was almost a plank with a 5 cm foam mattress on it, although it was changed upon request.
As the days went on the lack of basics became evident, no orange juice, mayonnaise, coke, whiskey, the list goes on and on.

No entertainment what so ever, well unless you count the waiters using the dance floor to play football in the evening and ensuring that customers were used as makeshift goalposts. At one point the ball smashed a customers glass as it went flying by.

Although we paid a reasonable amount of money for the holiday, it was pointed out that if we had gone a week earlier it would have been cheaper and the entertainment and food would have been much better. A dreadful place to visit in the last week of the season, to the point that we felt in the way during the last few days as they packed up the jetty chairs and closed the beach bar. Monarch should be absolutely honest and explain in their information what it is like in the last week.
One plus point, due to the fact that there was about 80 guests in a hotel that caters for over 1000 there was always a sunbed free and never a queue for the food.

This is a hotel I would never visit again.

Visited marmaris park with my hubby 2 children and nephew when we booked we requested a family room and a room for 2 nephew and son are 20 and 21, their room lovely apart from right on dance floor so do not take rooms from 602-650 if u dont want to be kept awake all night, our 'family' room was the same but with a single bed stuck in, all rooms have 1 socket with a sign saying do not use as electrical appliances can be dangerous.... Our socket was actually hanging about one inch out of the wall this was reported but was still the same the day we left, food repetitive as per usual for turkey first week quite nice second week I dont think we actually ate there, coke ran out for last week so diet coke it was, desserts were practically halved from first week, pizza bar at front shut which was on the jetty this was a massive inconvenience if your were sunbathing on the jetty as you then had to go to main bar for a drink as drinks were served along with the pizzas, also the hotel caters massively for Russians and the first week was full of them, they were arrogant ignorant and they do not no what the word que means, all in all fantastic views, situated in a lovely place but seriously that's about all, we paid a lot more than any other hotel we've stayed in and by far this was the worst of them all

vsited the last week of there season end of oct 2013 as it was the last week they were running out of and not replacing many of the different drinks some of the bars were shut or with very limited stock the food was very repetitive and of quite poor quality the choice was dreadful.on the whole the hotel was very dated and needed major redecoration the hotel rates itself 5* never in a million years is it any where near. possibly 2* at a push. on the possitive side it has fab views of the whole area and is idealy placed for walks to either marmaris or icmeler.

Room Tip: sea views essential as busy road behind hotel
