“Lovely Hotel”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

Just returned from our second stay at fantasia. We again had a lovely relaxing time and met some lovely people. The hotel staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless and pool and pool area is kept clean , The beach is a few steps away, with free sunbeds and beach towels. We spent some time talking to the owner who is a lovely lady .The food was well presented maybe not always to our liking but we could always find plenty we did like and the desserts are really lovely . We will be returning next year, if not before

Its not in down town marmaris but in down town ichmiler. its 10 min ride from our place to marmaris by bus. bus fees is only 5 TL for the couple.the weather was great not too hot, very quiet hotel, food is great...very nice staff...LOCATION is wonderful, just on the beach. two min walk ahead is a great coffee sho on the corner that shows the whole view of the sea and their staff are friendly as well. in GENERAL, turkish ppl r friendly, helpful and honest.

Been to Icmeler many times but first stay in this hotel which was very nice and clean.Big rooms with his and hers wardrobes ( makes a huge difference ) mini bar which is stocked everyday and room safe. You pay 30 TL for the key but get it refunded on departure.Food was fine and you could always find something you liked. The sweets are to die for lol! Staff are pleasant but don't speak English very well. The rooms were cleaned every day and sheets changed once a week, towels changed daily and beach/pool towels are supplied free of charge. The air conditioning is very good and not noisy. The down side to this hotel is that it does not have free Wifi,it costs 60 euros for two weeks ( rip off ) but you can walk along to any of the beachfront cafe's and you get it for free. This is an Adults only hotel which is very quiet but I don't intend going back again.

Room Tip: If you like a view of the sea ask for the 5th floor and you will have a really nice view and avoid t...

Just arrived back from ten nights at the Fantasia and was glad I didn't take any notice about some of the reviews. The hotel was in a lovely quiet location but right on the beach. The staff couldn't do enough for us and always went out their way to talk. Most of the guests were couples and the majority were over 35. The rooms were spotlessly clean and we had a sea view which was fab even though we didn't request one. The rep was very helpful and gave us advice on trips but wasn't pushy with you. Bonus to have towel for bathing everyday and nice to have an adults only choice so no children running around.
Only negative for us was the food. Breakfast not too bad but as we stayed half board I struggled some night to find anything that I liked apart from the soups which I loved and salad. If there was just a little more basic choices then it would have been perfect.
I would return again but probably only bed and breakfast if I had the choice but food aside this is a fab hotel and would definitely recommend.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor sea view the view is amazing every morning.

Read some poor reviews about this hotel prior to going but in all honesty there was no need to worry. This is one of the best holidays my wife and I have had in over 20 years.Hotel/staff/room all excellent and the free sunbeds(WITH THICK FOAM MATTRASSES) and free towels are a bonus.Another good thing is that this is an adult only hotel so no screeming kids or drunken teenagers leaping about in the pool.Go on -book up-you WILL enjoy this hotel.

Room Tip: Sea facing are the best and these are at the front.

Just got back from a 7 day holiday with Thomas Cook, in this adults only hotel. It has been been updated 2 years ago so it is very modern with a lovely open feel. There was only about 40 people staying who were a mixed clientele. The rooms were spacious and even though we had not paid for a sea view we were put into a room on the third floor overlooking the pool, beach and sea, glorious to hear the waves whilst lulling you off to sleep at night. The food was good whilst being a little predictable but there was always a good choice of main course and a vegetarian option.
As mentioned by another person the music by the pool was not in keeping with the hotel's atmosphere of relaxation, which resulted in most people crossing the footpath and using the beach. There are free beach towels which are not mentioned in the brochure.
There is a spa in the hotel, we only used the sauna and the hammam, however be warned the hammam is only aired. We used another in the village for our two Turkish baths, Utopia, which was excellent and much cheaper.
The Thomas Cook rep did not push her tours but we felt she did not give us much info on the hotel or area either. On our last day she saw us in the reception and did not even say hello never mind seem to recognize us, this was weird as she only had 3 couples in the hotel for all our stay. Also the male rep who took us to the airport and gave us the usual talk could not remember if we were arriving or going and did not even ask if we had had a good holiday. You are taken for a toilet break, both arriving and leaving at an organised cafe/shop, I advise you to ignore buying food there as there will be food in the hotel, just ask at reception, but leaving you might want to take something with you as the food there is very expensive and poor.

This hotel could not do enough for us. My sister had a special birthday and they could not be more helpful so we could enjoy this special time. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, and kept very clean.
We stayed half board and the selection of food and menu was constantly changed.
The music on a lunch time was the only thing that let them down unless you like clubbing.

Room Tip: The tip would be just to enjoy yourself because they do the rest.
