Just returned from our 2 week stay at the Moonlight Apartments & we had a fantastic time. We were a party of 6 & had 3 one bedroom apartments which were all overlooking the pool. Apartments were a good size & spotlessly clean & the staff were really friendly. We ate out every night & all the restaurants served excellent food at reasonable prices especially the Ida Lounge Bar, The Steak House & The Majestic.Would definitely stay at the Moonlight Apts again & thanks to all the staff for a lovely holiday.

Home this morning from an 8 day break at Moonlight, cannot fault it at all.... We went with our 2 daughters aged 8 & 4 and had a really good time, I felt likepart of a big family staying there, free aircon, 2 beautiful pools, lovely food reasonably priced, nothing too much trouble. Apartments were spotless, cleaned every day, wholeplace was spotless. 5 minute stroll to some fab restaurants, 10 mins into the centre, we are definitely going back! I do not see how anyone could fault this place...

Room Tip: ask for a pool view....

Myself and my family plus friends all stayed at the moonlight apartments. On arrival Hakan who was a really genuine guy showed us to our rooms. On first impressions yes they looked dated but as the week goes on you realize just how quaint and lovely the rooms are, yes storage is an issue but its not the end of the world when all said and done. The staff were first class and couldn't be faulted in any way what so ever. Bobby, Hakan, Mehmet ,fahtih plus the night watchman mario were fantastic people, its the only place we have actually been to in Turkey where they don't leer at the female members of your family!!! The overall feel to the place was one of a family friendly environment which suited us down to the ground. The grounds were immaculately kept and not once did i see any litter anywhere on the premises. The staff really are a credit to the owner.
We ate at various places but one of our favorites was the Three Bells which was only a 5 minute walk away, their Sunday lunches and Yam Yam chicken (Korean dish) were amazing! Another good restaurant was Alins grill which was set back from the front, it was cheap but didn't falter on the quality.
We drank at a few nice bars one of them was called Annes Cafe bar which the owner really looks after you bringing nibbles and grapes etc. They also do the best Cuba Libre i have ever tried!
A good shop/supermarket was Asda round the corner on the main road, the guys who run it Mehmet and Ali are genuine nice people and give good rates for exchanging your money commission free, they count it out twice in front of you! You can trust these guys take it from me.
Overall our holiday was a chilled out one thanks to the laid back none booming music atmosphere created by the amazing people at the moonlight, were missing Hakans superb cocktails already!!! Thanks a million guys you are awesome!

Room Tip: We had room 1 which overlooked the pool area, you are literally 5 seconds from the pool so its handy...

Just returned from a wonderful two weeks in Turkey staying at the Moonlight Apartments. We booked these apartments on the strength of the reviews on this site and I'm happy to say that on the whole they were justified. The positives for these apartments are: lovely people (especially Bobby & our maid!), spotlessy clean with towels changed every day bar one, a super quiet location (quiet at night and no loud music or entertainment on site), great breakfasts, choice of two pools (one with a waterslide), free air conditioning in the bedrooms and large two bedroom apartment.
The negatives as we saw them were;the apartment was 'tired' and needed of a bit of TLC, the internal apartment doors consisted of glass pains so privacy was an issue when showering etc. The 'catering' facilites could be improved, the utensils etc provided were very basic & there was no toaster, tin opener etc. The bathroom had quite a nasty smell to it most of the time similar to a blocked drain and there were large holes on the wall where something had been removed but not filled in. On the balcony the drying rack came off in my hand when I pulled it out to extend it! These are relatively minor points though and they didn't spoil our stay.
The only other negative is the distance the apartments are from the beach; they are a good twenty minutes walk away, which isn't too bad if its cool but most days the temperatures were 40 and above.
We ate in some lovely restaurants including Romance, Venice & Il Maestro & went on two boat trips, one booked via a street guide & one booked through Bobby.
All in all recommended if you like small, quiet, intimate apartment complexes where everyone gets to know each other & where there is no booming entertainment.

Room Tip: The two bedroom apartments are by the kids pool so in a quiet location. We didnt have a pool view so...

Had a lovely fortnight in the moonlight back in July .The staff were very friendly and this seemed genuine, the apartments were slightly dated as some folk have said and there is a lack of storage space but the layout of the apartments lends itself to you getting to know other guests which was nice. The Turkish night was good fun and the food was great . You do have a ten minute walk to the beach but the restaurants around were as good as any, everyone has a different favourite ours was the robin hood for their fajitas and also their real chips,as far as trips are concerned the boat trip from the apartments is a must as is a jeep safari ,hope this is helpful.
