Just got back home 4 days ago after spending 4 weeks in Tokmak and can honestly say it was a pleasure. I stayed there with my friend and we are both in our early twenties and at the beginning of our trip found it quite quiet by the pool (music wise). However, as time went on as it got busier, the music started playing more often but not at a volume where it would irritate anyone; it was just right :).
The staff there are absolutely lovely, they are so polite and helpful and definitely shared a laugh with us two! The cleaners are incredibly smiley too!
We walked into town every night for the bars etc and we did not feel like it was an incredible trek or anything, about 10 minutes.
I have no complaints. If you want to stay in a relaxing, family orientated, hassle free place....this is your winner!

This was my first time to Icemeler and I was in a party of ten and have to honestly say this is one of the best holidays I have ever had. Right from the beginning this holiday was fantastic. From the barbecue night at Club Tokmak to the fantastic food. The staff were also great, who really became more like family, there helpfulness and attentiveness was second to none! Great family holiday in a great apartment with great people. Would definitely recommend staying here if not you are seriously missing out!!!

Another wonderful holiday at the tokmak I wouldn't ever go any were else! Lovely and clean all staff friendly and would do anything to help you!
Plenty of room round the pool ANY TIME OF THE DAY always room in the sun throughout the day there's more sunbeds in the sun then what the last review said!

Always nice warm showers any time of the day.

No1 round the pool reserves sunbeds all day and doesn't lie on them if you dont wake up till 12 then dont expect to get the best beds 9 o'clock is a reasonable time to get the beds.

Already booked for next year and there's not 1 bad thing about this place!

Becca.

If I rate this property based on how much the trip cost us this is a great value for money.

You get what it says on the tin. Property is very clean and the staff are lovely. Apartments are spacious for 3 star and have everything you need for two weeks.

The downsides.. it was 45+ when we were there and the apartments are set back in resort. When you first pull up late at night you do struggle to understand where you are. You can get to some restaurants and bars within 5 mins but walking round to meet friends by the munamar was 40mins in very hot weather however perfect excuse to stop for a drinkie on route.

The hotel was significantly quieter in the first week as it was not full. Towards the end of our first week more and more people arrived and this is were the problems started. Sun Bed wars and no hot water. The apartments are small and when full do struggle to deliver holiday basics - a sunbed and a hot shower.

There are only 6 sunbeds that get sun all day - 9 till 6 - and these were taken by 7am every day for the second week. The other beds start losing the sun mid afternoon. For me I love the late afternoon sun and felt we missed out as no sun or beds. On the positive we had a room on the 4th floor looking over the mountains which was south facing so we moved to the room to sunbathe. The hotel also suffered with the normal lets reserve beds for 10 people and not turn up till 4pm issue that a lot of places have.. nothing really the hotel can do about this.

Showers - when the hotel was full if you chose to have a shower after 6 you were faced with at best lukewarm water and at worst freezing cold. Not great.

Against the price these apartments are good. You wouldn't have a bad time, everyone is friendly, no hassle, food was nice for snacks and bits. Prices the same as in town.

We travelled with our family and apartments suited all of us. Overall a good holiday.

We have been going to Icmeler for 26 years and have stayed at a lot of Hotels and apartments in that time. This is the first time we have stayed here and it ranks amongst the best we have stayed at. All the staff are very polite and helpful, rooms are well looked after and cleaned daily, the food in the bar is tasty and well presented. There is a good variety of drinks on offer from tea & coffee right through to beer and sprits.
I like very hot coffee and when I asked for extra hot Café Latte that's what I got (not lukewarm stuff as in the uk)
Its good for couples and family's alike. The only thing some may find not to their liking is that it is slightly out of town about a 5/10min walk and about 10/15min to the beech

Arrived back Monday after 2 weeks stay here. We will be back as it was very well run by the family, the room was cleaned every day. They were kind enough to lend me a wheelchair as the one I had taken was not up to the task!!

Very polite staff and the family welcomed you to the hotel and stayed to send you off. Lovely lovely place.

If you want a quiet relaxing break this is ideal. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The cleaners have big smiles all day even when, during our stay of ten nights, the lift was out of service for seven days and they had to carry equipment, bundles of towels and bedding up and down stairs. There are two good restaurants within easy waiking distance Wayside and Fryer Tucks (Christine of Yorkshire) and two decent supermarkets. There is another restaurant The Red Lion, whilst the food is good it was a bit over the top, for our taste, with noise and false bonhomie. We did find Tokmak a bit far out from the centre of things. A good 30 minute walk down to the harbour and promenade on our 70+ year old legs and in heat of 35c to 45c by the time we walked down, a stroll round the harbour, a couple of beers we had to taxi back everyday and nap in the afternoon. We would have liked a room overlooking the pool but were glad we had one at the rear overlooking the hills and forests, it had a nice cooling breeze. We could have had air conditioning but it cost £35 p week and in bedroom only which we thought excessive. If you just want to chill out, short walk to couple of good restaurants, supermarket for cheap beers to put in fridge and enjoy on the balcony. Ideal.

Room Tip: Rooms at the rear if you are going in hot weather
