We have just returned from 10 days at the Mersoy Bellvista,we had a great time ,we had a pool view room which we liked, the staff was very good, the food was ok ,we always managed to find some thing to eat,4example a group which was on Tuesday night was the best group we have ever seen while we have been going abroad, very talented lads, although we where A I,we did eat out a few times.
The Waterfall restaurant ,was very good, highly recommend it,i had fillet steak with chips and veg,the misses had Jalfriezi and rice,2 glasses of wine and two pints of Efes,£29,well worth a visit,
There is a fish and chip restaurant called frier tuck ,very good fish and chips.
We met some great people while we were there,Keith,Atilla,Debbie,Marion, and Mark and Sharron who live there,we had a great laugh.as for the hotel, the bar closed at 11 o'clock, and did not stay open so you could buy drinks after 11 if you wanted, think there is an opening their somewhere Management.
As was said earlier ,the Bistro Med is 2mins walk away, and Fonz is such a great guy,you can go to there for a drink when the bar closes at the Mersoy, you will have a great time with Fonz.
I think the Hotel has a bit of teething problems as far as all inc goes, very limited drink selection, they ran out of Vodka while we was there, also ,one night when it rained there was not enough room for all the residents to sit down in the restaurant, two elderly people was standing up to eat their evening meal,it seems the restaurant is not big enough to seat everybody if the hotel is full, this really does need sorting, and it was raining into the restaurant after a down pour,it was cold on the first couple of Nights,we had to ask for Duvets,i think they should be in all rooms as the blankets on the beds are too small for them. Music round pool was sometimes very boring they really need more good cd's,all in all we had a great time at the Mersoy, and we thought we got very good value for the money we paid,we will deffo return to the Mersoy Bellvista.
