We have just returned from the Telmessos(stayed 3rd til 14th June) and we had a really good holiday.
The hotel is a 3 star all inclusive and I believe this is the first year they have done all inclusive so still in the early stages and think they need to have a little more choice however could always find something to eat. Breakfasts weren't the best but it is Turkey after all! Lunch was from 12 til 2 then the snacks were 4 til 5pm and was burgers and chips ( this was on every day so not sure what previous reviewer referring to??) then Dinner was from 7 til 9pm. Also pancakes every day apart from a Tuesday near bar area, made fresh for you and free from 10 til 5pm.
For the drinks I can only comment on the beer and was ok, not the best but drinkable. Other drinks included in AI were wines, vodka, gin and raki and then water and soft drinks. If you wanted other spirits eg, Malibu, Archers, this had to be paid for but was only 5 lira and cocktails were 5 lira as well and always on buy one get one free.
Tea and coffe machine at bar and restaurant and access 24 hours.
The pool area was really good two pools both with childrens pools and slides that were on twice a day at 11am and 4pm for an hour each time. One of the childrens pool had an octopus slide feature in which my little boy loved! You could always get a Sunbed no matter what time of day and very comfortable with cushions provided.
Rooms:- We were in Block E which was previously Kevin's block and I believe that these rooms are nicer as more modern and we had view of pool area and excellent views of mountains. Enough storage and space( there were 3 of us in a double room) fridge and air con at no extra cost, and nice bathroom with large shower ( no bath).
The hotel was kept spotlessly clean and all the staff were very nice and helpful especially the girl at reception, who was there morning noon and night!!
The safety deposit boxes are located behind the reception area and cost us £20 for 11 nights, at first I thought would be a pain not having them in your room but not bad at all, just used to take money out as we left for the evening.
Late check out rooms are available on day of departure if needed and cost £25 until 5pm or £35 until 9pm and you get to use AI until you leave hotel.
Entertainment : not a lot going on through day so means no hassle, did have something on every night but we always went out so not sure how good, they have a stage area with seating etc.
The hotel runs a shuttle service bus to Paradise Beach at 10.30 and 11.30 and it really is a nice beach compared to the Blue Lagoon which has pebbles and shingle still. It's free entry into beaches on this side and you only pay for the beds which are 7 lira each and plenty of restaurants bars there all at decent prices.
The hotel is a 5 min walk to the top of the Main Street in hisaranou, slight incline but not that bad and we walked this with a pushchair everyday.
Hisaranou has plenty of restaurants bars and shops, we found all food to be very reasonably priced and all have deals on with set menus, for drinks you are looking at 6-7 lira for a large Efes and spirits approx 8lira and cocktails 12 lira.
We really like indian food and would reccommed the Curry Palace (opposite the fun fair) and has excellent food and service and nice views over the resort, they do a set menu for 25 lira which includes popadums, starter, main and rice or nan and was one of the best we have had.
You don't get loads of hassle from the owners/traders but they will speak to you as you pass and just a polite no thank you and they'll leave you alone. There are also loads of beauty salons and hairdressers and all very cheap prices - only £3 for a mens hair cut and £2 for a turkish shave.
The Dolums stop is at the bottom of the street as you walk down from hotel ( Bus stop D) and is 2.75 lira per person ( didn't pay for a 4 year old) and is only 5 mins or so to Olu Deniz, a taxi will, cost you 20 lira.
All in, we had a lovely holiday and I would defiantly return and reccommed here.
