Just arrived back and not normally one to complain about any of the Resturants in Hisaronu
But feel I need to put this in writing on the way the customer service was at the Curry Palace, we have used this Resturant on many occasions over
the past few years and upto now have never had a problem.
But this time was a lot different their was 4 of us and we ordered the set menu, we all found that it wasn't upto the normal standard so when they came to clear the table there was plenty of food left, the waiter asked us if every think was ok !!
We just asked if the chef had changed as the chicken was very dry and the naan breads were also dry as if they had just been re-heated,
the English girl then came over just grinned and then very rudely started to speak in Turkish, as I said have never had a reason to complain at this Resturant or any other.
But surely we wasn't looking for a free meal but a sorry you didn't enjoy your meal this time and instead of talking about us in Turkish so we didn't know what was being said isn't the way to get customers to return.
Sorry for the rant but with so much choice in this small village maybe you should treat every customer as if they was your first !!

We visited twice during our recent two week trip and neither time disappointed .
The set meal is good value, with almost too much food!
You can never expect the food to be the same as your local curry house or comparable to curry dishes in India but the standard is still good.
If you like your food spicy then go for the Jalfraizi , it's not as hot as at home but still a bit spicier than some of the others.
Service is very good and the place is clean.
Nice for a change if you at bored with the same food served up by most of the multi cuisine restaurants.

I liked the fact, there is a hostess at the bottom of the entrance giving out samples for you to try. It was a nice meal and we enjoyed all the courses. Would eat here again

Visited the Curry Palace twice this time and we have to say it was superb. Unlike other recent contributors we will only put one review on to reflect our party's experience. The owner does everything to make the menu and food as authentic as possible and I will say that the result is as good if not better than many of the restaurants back home. Spotlessly clean and served hot, they avoid the temptation that other restaurants yield to of cramming as many in as possible and then rushing you out. This place is always busy with expats and is open all year round, which is testimony to the kind of operation they run.
I will say that it's a little unfair to criticise the fact that there is a funfair nearby as its pretty obvious it's there when you walk in - it has to be borne in mind that you are in the middle of the tourist town of Hisaronu, what we they expecting - the Hanging Gardens of Babylon or hordes of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plains ......?

Dined at the Curry Palace 7th September 2013. Having dined there for the past 5 years of holidays in Hisaronu we always return and have never been let down by the choice and quality of food. The only mistake we made was to order 'extras' as we just couldn't manage all that food!!!.
We opted for the set menu which I believe was around £25. Previous experiences in other restaurants led us to believe that set menus usually come with smaller portions so we ordered extra nan and chips....BIG mistake, our set menu came with huge portions as the norm and there was no way we could manage all that food plus the extras and I NEVER leave food on my plate but I did this time!! The Shine restaurant is the one that people always mention when asked but do yourself a favour TRY the Curry Palace and I guarantee you will not be disappointed - the food is just as tasty.
