“Cool and refreshing stay in the nature”
Reviewed October 5, 2012 via mobile

During our stay in Turkey, the quality of the food was among the best. This was a amazing feat given the remote location of Bolu. There was no need for air conditioning with the natural cooling weather in Bolu. The rooms were small but comfortable stay for us with the free wifi. Please remember to try the bolci chocolate found at the supermart.

Stayed in this hotel for a night as part of a tour package. I liked it that the room overlooks a forested area, and the place was naturally cool so we did not need air-conditioning in summer (it was June and blazing hot in some parts like Cappadocia). One could take relaxing exploratory walks outside the hotel where there are walking trails. We walked towards what we hoped was a lake but turned out to be a little pond with some hopeful hungry geese in it. The air felt a lot fresher there than in the other parts of Turkey we went to. This place is so rustic that sheep were brought to graze on the hotel grounds in the morning. It was a really interesting sight.

Although a little run-down in some parts, I felt that its location amidst greenery, sumptuous buffet, and relaxing ambience more than made up for it.

I can imagine how this place must be quite spectacular in winter however I came in summer. This hotel is badly stuck in the 70s, it is so retro and no I don't think it's the theme. It gave me an impression of owner not caring of his own hotel.
Buffet didn't have as many choices as you would other hotels. I walked around the back of the hotel and found what looked like a dog kennel
with some dogs in a not so great condition, that really broke my heart. The duck pond was also a bit dirty however the ducks looked well fed and happy. I could not find all the sports courts and fields as advertised in their brochure.
On the up side, wifi was free, fast and no login or password required, swimming pool was rather pleasant and pool table and ping pong table were provided for free.

I went to this hotel with my family on a tour group. The rooms were very small, the beds unconfortable, no air conditionning or fan and windows without screens. No safe were available While we were there there was a soccer team who were very noisy until very late. The only positive aspect was the excellent buffet for the meals and the poo that wasl very nice and warm.

I love this hotel very much! I spent one night staying in a triple room with my parents. We're on our way to Istanbul from Ankara. The surrounding of the hotel is very beautiful and mesmerizing. I love walking around the hotel. There is a romantic lake with ducks swimming in it. So beautiful.

There is only heater and no aircond inside the room as the weather of Bolu is cold and chilly. The room is not that big and a little bit old yet clean. There is swimming pool but I didn't swim because of the weather. There are table tennis and few other games provided in the lounge.

The dinner and breakfast buffet is okay. The selection is quite limited but it tastes good. I would love to stay here again.

we went with group tour and it was night time when we reach hotel, old fashion looking interior, buffet was so-so, not much choice for asian as i do not fancy cheesy food and olive cooked food. The tomato soup is nice mixed with shreded cheese. Wanted to tried turkish bath however its not open as its not popular to use, they switch off the whole room. The staff was nice enough to switch on the lights to let us view the turkish bath area to see if we wanted to use, its a nice place however too quiet, cold that we din even want to use. The morning walk around the hotel is nice if its snowing, its not snowing when we were there.

6 of us took 3 comfortable, well colour-coordinated rooms. The buffet dinner/breakfast spread had adequate variety. Service was attentive, friendly, efficient. The hotel is spread out on a sprawling estate. Its nature trial passed quaint cobbled stone cottages, a sheep farm, a dog kennel, winding paths, cool pinetrees, an interesting well, modern houses, the hotel's windmill, a horse-carriage (without the horse). On the grounds, you can see an aviary, a mini-playground, colourful wagons carrying bright flowers. The supermarket next to the hotel is full stocked. Don't miss the 2 huge brass lions and the big camel used to display items on sale. A fantastic Green experience!
