I went there a couple of years ago, in September 2011 with my friends for one week. But I still remember like it was yesterday. We loved the hotel, the rooms were very neat and clean, food was delicious and service was very nice.
But we had a few problems as well. The first day we had a problem with one of the waiters, he was a bit rude towards my friend, asking him if he was gay for travelling with two girls. I mean what? His question was: 'Are you normal? Because I am a normal turkish boy.' So we put him in his place and the entire week he had a very bad attitude, but we kindly ignored him and we gave tips to his coworkers, who were nice to us, making us all kinds of delicious cocktails. :) The other problem was the reception staff. I mean, you would expect some knowledge of English from someone who works in a hotel. My friend lost a wallet one day and when we got back to the hotel from our boat trip, we went to the reception to ask if they found a black wallet perhapse. The woman wanted to give us some sort of CD, reserve a massage and I don't know what else, because she did not understand what we were asking her. Then I kinda lost it, pulled my wallet out of my bag, threw it on the counter and asked: Did you find something like this, only in black?! And finally she was all like oh, yes, yes, we have. And my friend got his wallet back after 10 stressful minutes full of questions and misunderstandings.
Overall, we had a very nice holiday, I just wish the hotel was closer to the city centre.
