The Azorin is one of those little places that are easy to miss when you have so much great dining choices. Javea has many great places to eat but the Azorin, tucked inside the narrow streets of Javea's Port area is an absolute gem. As well as the usual menu choices, there is a very popular menu del dia for 10 euro's which includes starter, main, desert and a drink. All the food is cooked freshly and served with a smile and sense of humour, whether you are a regular or simply visiting.

Give it a try and enjoy some traditional Spanish food and hospitality.

Chose from the Menu of the day. Good size starters, decent size main course, nothing to dislike. One beer and coke included as we did not have the wine which was in the set menu. Not many places do that.

We visited the restaurant several times during our stay in Javea and had a great time every time!
Since we are vegan, we did not expect to be able to eat much except for a salad and fries, but the owner, Ramon, went out of his way to surprise us with lovely fresh dishes every time: grilled vegetables, wonderful salads, gorgeous chickpea soup, fantastic gazpacho and last but certainly not least; vegetable paella. There aren't enough superlatives to describe the food, the warm welcoming atmosphere provided by Ramon and Angel and the 'anything is possible' attitude.
Our friends who are not vegans had a similar experience with the fish, meat and non-veggie paella. A definite must when you are in Javea. Very reasonably priced and real Spanish food, prepared and served by lovely people.

We were disappointed this restaurant was closed when we went to Javea, but happily they reopened on our last day on holiday!

The place was typically “old school” Spanish and buzzing with Spanish and visitors/ ex pats alike. We went for the Menu del Dia at €9.50 including wine and it was exactly what you would expect, 3 courses, lots of bread and mayo, well cooked simple food from fresh ingredients, friendly welcome. Best traditional Spanish restaurant I’ve been to in years. Thanks.
