We have been using Azorin for umpteen years and think that they serve the best value fish and chips in Javea. Of course there are other dishes available and importantly, there is always a friendly welcome from Ramon and Angel.
Our visitors love going there and always comment on the good value and delightful Spanish ambiance.

So what's changed in the last 25 years? Not much, thank goodness although Ramon does now use some English if you want. Arrived 4 minutes before the 10.30 p.m. closing time on a cold, wet Monday night straight from the airport. No problema. Of course we could be served.
Quick choice of dishes which was easy as we almost always have the same. Only hesitation was between the soups. Then the merluza which was the best I can remember and fresh fruit salad. Price including wine, pan ac alioli 9.50 euros. Incredible. This is one of our family's regular choices in the summer and the grandchildren appreciate the lolipop. A decent paella too if you want to order in advance or take away.
Always a warm welcome and if you want to watch the football and talk about Real Madrid you can do so.

This is for me the best of the budget priced restaurants in Javea. We have eaten there several times during our recent stay and it takes a lot of beating. For 9.50 euros you get a full 3 courses with half a bottle of wine, with generous portions. There is a choice of starters, including three different home made soups (I recommend the chicken soup, with the lentil soup a close second), and the fish main course is the best I have found in Javea. Plus dessert, bread rolls, garlic mayo, and wine all in the price. The service from Ramon and Angel is friendly and welcoming - looking forward to returning on our next visit.

Been coming here for 12 years and it's still the best value for simple home-cooked fresh food - the best fish and chips in Javea! No-one does it better for the money! Keep up the good work, Ramon & Angel!
