This hotel was recommended hence why we booked it.
When booking this hotel we searched the booking website (not this one) on a hotel which had accommodation for a couple with a 4 year old child. This came up as the recommended solution with 2 rooms which we assumed were next door to each other.
I eMailed the hotel to say we would arrive at about 23:00 as our flight did not land till 21:30 and to confirm this would not be a problem, which it should not have been as it stated on the website that it had 24 hour reception. I received no response. When we arrived at 23:10 we stood on the doorstep for 15 mins in the cold with a 4 year old, ringing the bell and phoning. Eventually someone came from the restaurant, apologised and did confirm they had received my eMail. The girl did kindly allow us to get a quick drink from the bar as our daughter was thirsty.
When we got to the apartment it was freezing and our daughters room was up 2 flights of marble stairs and she was scared to sleep up there as we'd either have to shut her in the room or risk leaving the door open and she could potentially slip down the stairs when she got up in the morning. So we had to carry a mattress down to our room for her to sleep on.
It was the most uncomfortable nights sleep I've ever had, the mattresses were so hard that to sleep on our slides hurt our arms and we both slept very little.
In the morning we went to breakfast where much of the food and drink had already gone so we had to wait for it to be replenished. Although I will not go into detail, the food did not appear to be as fresh as we would expect and I was unwell a couple of hours later.
We had booked to stay for 3 nights but the thought of spending 2 more nights there was so depressing that we complained at reception and then arranged to settle the bill and check out and stay somewhere else. To be honest we would probably have paid all 3 nights and paid again for another hotel.

Room Tip: This hotel is in a good location

I would recommend this hotel. It has a really big swimming pool and lots of loungers. The gardens are really green. The apartments were really nice - very spacious and with air con in the bedroom and the living room. The walls between the rooms are pretty thin - we heard some interesting noises from the next door apartment! The washing machine was very welcome as we'd been travelling for almost two weeks and there is a washing line outside where you can hang things up. The apartments have a fridge, dishwasher, TV, crockery etc. The breakfast was nice (fresh croissants!) and there was a lot of choice. The gym is not really a gym - just a few weights and one bike. It's not really walkable from the hotel into town, but it's a really short drive and there is loads of parking. We had an amazing meal at a restaurant called Masena, just outside Javea.

Hadn't tried Pinosol before as it is not close to the beach but needing to be close to someone living in that area thought we would give it a go. We are very glad we did as it was excellent value for money. The apartment was spacious and the air con was very efficient. The rooms were cleaned every day and everything was provided. The menu was limited during the week but what you got was good. Very good choice for breakfast which was included. The waiter was very obliging as were all the staff. There is also an excellent restaurant just a few yards away with more choice for those who want it. As we were not actually there for a holiday we didn't get to try the pool but it looked very inviting and we saw the pool cleaner there every day. The only fault we could find was that being under another apartment you could hear chairs scraping on the marble floor above which didn' matter in the daytime but could be anoying if you had late night people above! We hope to stay there again.

Expected 4* aparthotel, found hotel closed Sunday to Friday;no restaurant, bars or gym. Situated in very quiet residential area, half an hour brisk walk downhill to nearest bar, bus, beach and shops. Should have been shut completely.
