As a hotel, this was quite tired and as other reviewers have said, the furniture quite dated.

I expected much better and perhaps that's more of an inditement on the quality of the other hotels in Javea?

I stayed in a suite and arrived around 4pm, hungry. While I appreciate that it's Spain, I was expecting to be able to order some level of room service. The best/all they could manage was the 'classic' ham and cheese toastie with crisps.

It was ok, and the spa (which I guess is why people stay here) could be amazing, but I didn't try it.

As a hotel, overpriced and below par. I would not go back.

Very nice little hotel with a lovely relaxed feel. Had 12 days here in late June early July and really enjoyed it.
We had the delux room which was very comfortable, the furniture may look a little dated but it is comfortable and very clean. The rooms are large and airy with great views over the Arenal area, which is where the beach is. Very good sized bathroom and balcony.
The hotel building itself holds the bar and restaurant and reception, with the rooms in a separate building, there are lots of privately owned small townhouses around the pool and grounds, but its generally very quite around the pool and restaurant except for weekends when the place fills up with families coming down from Valencia or Madrid which adds some life to the place.
The restaurant is very good with some gorgeous dishes we hadn't tried before, and a great wine list. Room service was prompt, although there isn't much on the room service menu, they seemed happy to bring anything that is on the menus in the restaurant which we found very helpful.
Its a 5 minute drive into Javea, 10 euros in a taxi. Local beach is superb, lots of places to eat and drink.
Great hotel, good staff in a beautiful part of the world. We are hoping to go back in Sept for a few days, and can't wait to have some of the superb spaghetti carbonara!

We stayed at this hotel for a very long weekend in June. The staff at reception were extremely helpful and helped us check into a slightly larger room as part of an upgrade due to us being small luxury hotel members.
The room itself was very large and clean with a large comfortable bed and large bathroom.
The furniture was just a tad dated and probably not as good looking as other SLH hotels we have stayed at.
The spa was lovely and well worth a visit too and there is ample free parking in the hotel grounds which is very useful as we hired a car during our stay.
There is 24 hour room service and the prices for the food and drinks was very reasonable but the room service items are limited.
I would recommend a stay at this hotel.
