We had reserved a Junior suite, first night was excellent, second night, a family with Young children arrived the noise from next door was unbearable and we were moved to another suite a few doors away at about 11.30 at night. Next morning, we awoke to the noise from our new neighbours, we could hear the occupants walking up and down the length ot the room and the children's screams, so we moved again to a grand suite (normal cost € 400.00 per night) at no extra cost. The suite was fabulous with no neighbours above or to the sides, but unfortunately, there were some below. We could hear the splashing noise when people went to the toilet and also, I've always wondered why people felt the need to continually drag furnitures across the room, making that awful grinding noise as the whole hotel floor is tiled. I would suggest that they fit felt pads Under all the movable furnitures in order to stop this terrible noise.
On the positive side, we found the staff outstanding and the quality of treatment in the spa excellent, restauration was also high quality.
As a mature couple used to stay in luxury hôtels and not particularly "moanies", I would not recommend this hotel to people seeking peace and quiet.
We had booked for 10 nights and have never looked forward so much for a Holiday to endMore
