We booked to stay at Denia Marriott La Sella Golf Resort and Spa as we were attending our daughter's wedding. There were a few wedding parties staying at this hotel.

The Marriott is spacious and has a lovely swimming pool and terrace where you can have snacks and drinks. The casual restaurant serves snacks and drinks situated on the Lower floor. We had a couple of lunches here.

There is a Thai restaurant which opens in the evening only located in the foyer, ground floor area.

There is a restaurant which serves breakfast and food. There is a vast selection of breakfast, both continental and hot buffet which is great.

Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the swimming pool with a small balcony.
The room is huge and kitted out in the iconic Marriott decor. Spacious and tastefully equipped. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Everything was great except a very minor oversight by the hotel housekeeping staff where our room on our last day was not cleaned or made up. We had been out all day and whe we returned to the room in the evening, it was not cleaned so we had to inform Reception to bring up some clean towels which they did promptly.

The hotel has a golf course on site and a spa which we did not try out.

Overall, the Marriott is a nice and good standard hotel in Denia. We enjoyed our stay here and so did the other wedding parties.

We have visited La Sella Marriott on a number of occasions and have always had a wonderful time. We recently spent 12 days there and, for the first time, were disappointed with some aspects of the hotel. We knew in advance that it was being refurbished but we were somewhat surprised and not always impressed by the extent of these. The upgrading of the bedrooms which are now very fresh and bright was a welcome touch. However the changes to the lobby and Mongó restaurant did, in our opinion, undermine their unique charm and warmth.
In previous years we dined almost every evening on the terrace of the restaurant which has now been incorporated into the main dining room. It was always a very special experience on a warm, balmy evening and one we were looking forward to repeating. Unfortunately this was not to be. We did dine in the restaurant on two occasions but it was disappointing in that there was little or no atmosphere. There were very few people dining there and those who were doing so were positioned along one side of the room. The fact that the rest of the restaurant was already set out for breakfast did nothing to enhance the atmosphere. This is an excellent space for breakfast but, somehow, is not appealing for dinner. Fortunately there are a number of very good restaurants in Javea and we had some wonderful meals.
I should mention that the cava brunch was as good as ever. As always there was a large crowd attending which helped create a really pleasant atmosphere. It would be great if there were a brunch every Sunday as it is one of the best dining aspects of the hotel.

Nice hotel with good rooms and facilities. As you'd expect in an area near the Costa Blanca there are lots of tourist families and experienced a large group of guys "taking over" the pool. Breakfast has a good selection however it is incredibly busy with guests seeming to loose all civility when getting food from the buffet.

Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your comments on Tripadvisor. We are pleased to learn that on an overall basis you have enjoyed your experience. Although we do not know the dates of your stay, your visit must have been in August as this is really the typical vacation month for families with children and the resort indeed becomes very busy. However, once the school holidays are over from September onwards, this changes a lot and the resort becomes much quieter. The spring and autumn months for example, are the preferred travel time for golfers and bikers and you will find mainly couples, sports or nature lovers. Again, thank you for your visit. We certainly would be pleased being able to welcome you back at a future occasion.

At several occasions stayed at this hotel. Most friendly and service minded. Even the restaurant offers very nice dishes and the snacks are excellent. Well maintained and lovely rooms. Real hospitality.

Thanks a lot to the team of the hotels as they provided good service and real hospitality everywhere. During our stay that big hotel was fully booked with plenty of guests at breakfast, at the lobby and at swimming pool. Due to perfect organization everything was comfortable and accessible. We faced small problem with the laundry, and it was resolved in 15 minutes which is impressive. Thanks to reception for that!
Finally, I have suggestion: to develop a very simple manual for the guests how to behave at nice hotels, definitely translate it into Russian language, so guests not only relax, but also improve their social skills :)
