Just spent a week here and absoloutely loved it, although it is not really 5 Star more a good 4 star. The staff were just perfect, attentive but not overbearing, the rooms were large and well furnished. Spa was superb and the Restaurant good but not great, the Pool ares is outstanding with plenty of beds. you must visit the local towns as they are some of the loveliest around, Javea is excellent for it's Beach and restaurants as is Denia.
The Golf is also superb but is expensive .

My partner and i stayed here for 4 days in September and it was everything I expected and more. The reception was very friendly and welcoming and the hotel was spotless. The pool area was beautiful and very quiet with no children running around which was an added bonus. We spent a day at the spa and had a great day, prices were very reasonable too. Staff were very helpful but not too much. I intend to return very soon.

Great Hotel, nice breakfasts and excellent pool area. Very peaceful hotel.

No UK TV movies etc. If you have kids or want a night in with a movie then it is sad, but maybe it is a good thing too. Kids would want it though.

In Denia try the restaurant attached to Hotel Nu Roma, it is good or Federico on the front left as you hit the front and keep going.

Room Tip: A word of note. Their are room which overview thr driving range where; a lorry at 01:00 collects the...

I've just spent a week at this hotel. The approach was quite attractive with a parking area in front, surrounded by palm trees, and with a fountain near the entrance.
Check-in at the reception desk in the spacious Lobby wasn't quite as quick as it might have been, possibly because they were dealing with with my brother and his wife at the same time as me, and we had separate reservations. This was, in fact, no problem and we were soon in our rooms, closely followed by our baggage.
My generously sized Junior Suite was comfortable, with a substantial sitting room and a good balcony looking out over the pool towards the golf course and driving range. The bathroom was equiped with a Jacuzzi bath as well as a walk-in shower.
I would have preferred a little more choice of food outlets, but it was early in the season and one of the restaurants was closed, as was the hotel shop. However, the Montgo Restaurant was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and snacks and light meals were available in the Lobby Bar.
Service in the restaurant and bar was good and usually cheerful, especially if helped along with the odd word or two of pidgin spanish. I didn't try the spa or the golf course.
All in all, I found the hotel to be comfortable and quiet, which is just how I like it. Things may be livelier when the season gets into its swing.

we never travel at peak times anywhere on the planet, so we accept the fact we trade peace and quiet and better rates for the fact hotels and destinations may not be fully operational.
The hotel is hard to find due to no signage but one, enroute. The hotel once located is in a heavenly location. Free parking is always appreciated. Checked into a room with a lovely view of the hillside. Toilet wasn't working, maintenance called and problem rectified in 20 minutes. It took 24hrs for the air conditioning at full blast to actually cool the room. Beds very comfortable, though it's time for new carpeting, updated tv's with more than six working channels and a few bathroom fixture refits . In total agreement with the great breakfast buffet, and wonderful cafe con leche. The hotel was empty, never more than 10 people at a time at breakfast or the pool. The gift shop, game room, one restaurant, pool and pool bar were closed. The few guests around the pool still took a dip due to the weather being sunny and hot. Apparently the hotel isn't fully functional until the beginning of summer in June. My husband enjoyed a 30 minute massage at the spa, despite being made to purchase a swimming cap for a pool and sauna he was not going to use. The hotel was blissfully quiet, no drunk adults, no screaming kids, so will take that over the lack of open facilities. If you want a full functioning hotel, wait for the summer months. We enjoyed our stay and would return this time of year again, great weather and easy on the soul. But it is time to spend some euros and update the rooms.

Room Tip: There are four views.....the front of the hotel facing the parking lot and some hills in the distanc...

My new wife and i have just returned from our second stay at this hotel. We went in May 2011 and again May 2012. Both experiences were equally enjoyable. The hotel is an excellent find, and you cant help feeling once youve stayed there that its your little secret.
Maybe its the time of year weve been, but the hotel has NEVER been even remotely busy. We had maybe 8 people round the pool at the busiest time of the day?
One bit of advice, book a golf course view room. For the €20 per night difference, its well worth it.
Breakfast was included in our rate, and as most of the reviews state, it is genuinely one of the best. We also had the spa experience included in the rate. Steam room wasnt working, but besides that, a nice little bonus, and broke the day up a bit.
There are one or two areas of the hotel which are starting to look a little 'tired', although the cleanliness was excellent. The pool area is five star, without question. Spotless, and picturesque. Pool is not heated, so beware if travelleling early in the year, but both times weve been, early and mid may, its been warm enough to use. Weve read a few reviews of people complaining about the attitude of staff, but we honestly cannot say we have ever had a problem. Maybe they respond in accordance to how they are spoken to...? I cant comment on the golf course as i dont play golf, but from the 'look' of it, it makes me wish i did. It looks spectacular, and very well maintained. Always plenty of golfers around.
My only gripe on both trips (and its not with the hotel), is finding 'good' places to eat in the area. Denia front is full of the run of the mill tourist restaurants, with the 'samey' menu. I am convinced there are some truly excellent quality traditional spanish restaurants in the area.....we just havent found them yet!!

Room Tip: Pay the small difference and get a 'golf course view'. if you get a 'mountain view'...
