Intimate seafood restaurant and bar, right by the old Baleraria ticket office. Really unusual dishes. All very enjoyable with charming, friendly service and a modest bill.

A group of us went for their closing party (25.10.15). At 30€ a head it was fantastic value. The food is just brilliant - so many different types of seafood and crustaceans.

The owner Bati Bordes is a Denia legend. Absolutely mad as a hatter!

We have visited El Marino three times over the last 18 months and on each occasion have been the only people dining despite the fact that we were not there early in the evening. The food is good as long as one avoids the monkfish liver - definitely an acquired taste! The waiters are attentive (naturally as we were the only customers) and cheerful, the wine is good and so is the coffee.

No visit to Denia would be complete without eating at El Marino. The owner, Barte, is a legend and the food is ace. Probably no good for those who don't eat fish! For those who do you will not be disappointed.

This is one of my most favourite restaurants in the town. Here is always very friendly and democratic atmosphere due to the character and fantastic sence of humour of the owner/chef of the restaurant, Bati. The restaurant is specializing in fish and seafood, but starting from this year serves very good grilled meat too. Actually it was here, that I made an acquaintance with all this numerouse types of before unknown to me local shells and other sea creatures; "tellinas' and "navajas", "mejillones" and "almejas", "berberechos" and "erizos" - hard to remember all delicacies that offers menu of the restaurant. This time we came here with our friends, elderly couple, and spent a very nice evening. In spite of the very busy time of top season, the service was very good, the food wonderfull, wine excellent, portions very generous. Restaurant has a patio, where it is wonderful to sit under the open sky in the evenings and breath the sea breeze air.
