Description: 1068/5000 The experiences that we propose in La Seu pivot on concepts and designs based on the roots of the earth. We understand the land and the pillars that sustain the La Seu fires in the recovery of the character of the cuisine of the grandmothers, with raw materials of important qualities and preferably autochthonous. We can say that the fish come from the market very fresh, which in the bay the quality of the water is excellent. We will also say that the varieties of our tomatoes are chosen by the notes of smell that indicate their natural origin, that our selection of vegetables brings you closer to God knows what. We will undoubtedly affirm that the meat comes from D.O. And that our winery is full of wines selected by its excellence. We will sign that the construction of our dishes has a harmonious order that reconciles tradition and innovation. You better come and judge for yourself! We are only a loose verse between stoves, a box in the sudoku of the aromatic combinations, an infinitesimal part in the equation of the flavors.

“Amazing decor and good food”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

Recently visited La Seu in my quest to try out all the great restaurants on the Costa Blanca. The decor is stunning and very creative. The service is good and the food is creative. There were elements of the menu that really blew us away like the liver dishes but in all honesty there were also elements of the menu that we enjoyed less.

With the recommendation I'd received I was hoping to be completly blown away by the quality and this is maybe an unfair expectation with which to go into a restaurant. In all La Seu is definetly worth trying but for me lacked the spark to make it a 5 star restaurant.

“Quality”
Reviewed August 20, 2012

Enjoyed a stunning lunch at La Seu. The minute you enter the restaurant has a certain quality in the decor that raises expectation. I am delighted to say the service and food certainly lived up to the expectation. I took the menu of the day which came as a sample of several tapas with an updated twist to each of them. Tapas were followed by a seafood paella to die for and a quirky little desert presented beautifully! All was then washed down with an espresso and a nice cold schnapps shot at the end (I didn't order that btw). Just a great place to dine with friendly service too. Strongly recommend visiting La Seu if you are in Denia - you will have missed a real treat if you don't go

“A delight”
Reviewed August 14, 2012

This was our third visit to Denia, but our first to La Seu. We dined on our first night and it has been a hard act to follow!

This is a 21st Century restaurant where everything from the decor to the menu reflects a desire to create a great dining experience and it delivers. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even when the chef forgot to cook my fish, they apologised and sorted it out. It was worth waiting for! A fresh catch cooked perfectly.

The food was presented beautifully and was cooked with care and perfection.

Treat yourself to one of the goldfish bowls full of gin and tonic- choose from their selection, I had Tanquery!

It was not a cheap night out, but compared it was worth every penny.

“Tapas twist”
Reviewed July 31, 2012

The restaurant was on Calle Loretto a great street for dining out on with lots of excellent restaurants both inside and out. La Seu is inside and I had lunch. The style of the restaurant is lovely. You get a modern twist on tapas. It was a more expensive lunch but worth it. The patatas bravas were great little mouthfuls. A must try in Denia. The staff were attentive but not pushy.

“Excellent restaurant!”
Reviewed July 22, 2012

Serves an updated Spanish kitchen with an moderne and international flair. Innovative and excellent for those who are trying to escape the standard Spanish tapas menu served everywhere else. Among other dishes, I had Tartar sirloin with mustard ice cream. Delicious! Though more expensive, this restaurant is worth every Euro!
