This hotel is truly a gem and has perfect access for walking into the town and direct access to the beach. We spent a week there and my son who was staying near Benidorm visited one day with his family and was shocked that the hotel only is rated as a 3 star, as he has been all over the world and most recently Dubai he claimed that he had stayed in worse 5 star hotels. Breakfast was served fresh, the rooms were very spacious and everything you could need within. A very quiet place to stay as off the main road, we will definitely be back as we are looking for our own Casa in Denia.

Room Tip: There are rooms on the ground floor including disabled facilities, ours was on the 1st floor but the...

What a little gem of a find! Sadly only spent 1 night but would definitely return! Very close to the town and right next to the beach, room very clean and spacious. Very friendly, efficient and helpful staff, breakfast served in a sunny courtyard extremely yummy and fresh served with a smile. Lovely!

Lovely little hotel on the outskirts of Denia that we stayed in as we were there attending our friends wedding in another hotel. Easily walking distance into town and right next to the beach. Our room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was lovely with toasted baguette, jam, yoghurt, fruit and coffee. Staff were wonderful and always very helpful. Would stay here again.

Before, wherever I went there were people from the Netherlands. It often made me wonder where they all come from as The Netherlands is a rather small country with population of less than 17mln. Apparently the other 17mln were in constant travel and spread all over the world..
Now, this domination has been clearly taken over by the Russians( and the Dutch have evaporated somewhere). Even in Spain's Costa Brava the signs are in three languages, spanish, catalan and russian. Real estate agencies in Costa Dorada advertise in russian. Mayorca is full of russian yachts
But that's more understandable as, after the years of supression, their borders are now open and they travel now free as a bird . Often a bird with full pockets.
Hotel Rosa is a charming little gem hidden from the road. It has a very nice Spanish/ neo classical architecture and the rooms are nicely furnished and decorated. What's a bit annoying is the number of signs posted everywhere. It's like reading the instruction on how to assemble a piano purchased in IKEA.
Overall it is a very nice, romantic (if there's no screaming kids) and quaint hotel, highly recommended.
The pluses :
-quiet, charming and romantic
-impecable rooms
The minuses :
-a bit far from the city of Denia. (good for the overweights in need of exercise)
-a smelly and half dry canal at the back that hasn't been cleaned for at least hundred years
-the kitchen closes shortly after 3 PM
-the annoying signs everywhere (see above)
It's worth to mention, however, that the pluses far outweight the minuses and we would come again for sure.

Stayed at Hotel Rosa during the Easter following the recommendation of a friend who visited Denia last year. Everything was perfect, from the friendly service from Rosa, the owner, to the convenient location, just a few meters from the beach. This hotel is a gem. Cannot wait to come back.

We stayed at Hotel Rosa for a short break of four nights. Hotel very Spanish in decor. Very quiet area away from the main resort of Denia and right next to the beach. Small hotel but nice. Staff very friendly, nice continental breakfast included. Our room was rather small and basic but new bathroom. Could hear noise from both rooms either side - could hear man snoring all night - not good!! Very restful place to stay prob more suited to older couples or those with small children not wanting too much noise or hustle and bustle. Some nice places to eat in old town behind Castle in Denia. Seafront restaurants a bit pricey. Small balcony but shaded by large pine tree. Bit disapointing. Would say 2/3 star.
