Visited based upon local recommendations and TA reviews. Overall a very positive experience. Given the info on the website, we had hoped to find a "saloon" with real old west atmosphere. The restaurant is actually at the end of a strip mall --so much for that. And it's not a saloon in that it isn't a full bar--just beer and wine. A nice selection of each, but we would have enjoyed a cocktail, and we heard neighboring tables making the same request. Not sure if that's a Camp Verde regulation or not...
Camp Verde has really spruced up the last few years, yet it retains that old western cowboy town charm. There are many interesting things to see around here and the Horn could be part of a great day of exploring.
Back to the review. Very nice ambience (complete with a few local cowboys who had been roping that day). Clean bathrooms. Very pleasant and knowledgeable waiter. Drinks were excellent, although I would agree with earlier reviewer who noted that wine pours are on the skimpy side compared to other restaurants in the area.
Hubby and our friend had the fillets and found them excellent. I had the salmon which was first rate, including the sides.
Would go back again, happily.
