“Lovely and Loving”
Reviewed September 25, 2011

We parked on the main street of Camp Verde and planned to eat in one of the restaurants there when a small sign for Sweet Grace caught our eye. We walked a dusty half-block back and it was well worth it. The small, homey cafe is run by two sisters and it is very much a small-town experience, in the very best sense. Portions are ample, the food is fresh and tasty. The tops of the walls are uplifted by positive biblical quotations which my partner, an agnostic on a good day, found pleasant. We were charmed by the friendliness. Don't get me wrong, it's not a destination restaurant, but a happy interlude in a small, fairly remote place. And yes, they do serve wine.

“One of the best restaurants in town!”
Reviewed July 11, 2011

I love this place and go every chance I get. The food is awesome... homemade but with a gourmet flavor. Everything is always fresh and top quality. It's definitely a small town restaurant, so don't expect fountain sodas (they serve their sodas in a can, but you're better off with the homemade lemonade anyway), but you can expect friendly staff and fellow diners. Be sure to save room for their homemade desserts!
