“Great dioramas with the artifacts presented along a shaded garden walk”
Reviewed March 22, 2012

The mysterious story of the Singua is told paralleling a world event timeline as a background for understanding the period of time when they were present. The sycamore trees and other garden amenities made this a pleasant relaxing visit. Getting to the parking lot was the only mild disturbance. There was a line of cars that were backed up waiting for spots to open up in the tiny parking lot. Maybe this was a rare occasion, we visited on a Monday morning so we were surprised when we ran across all the traffic.

“Worth the stop...but best done in route to another destination”
Reviewed March 22, 2012

Perhaps best visited in conjunction with your travels elsewhere, rather than making a special trip from the Phoenix area just to see it. Ideally when traveling to/from the Grand Canyon/Sedona this is a do not miss (hour or less) stop just off Interstate I -17.

$5 entrance fee. Seniors should purchase the $10 "Senior Pass" allowing them (and guests) free entry to all National Parks/

“Shocking and amazing”

Great stop right off the highway. No hiking needed to see this amazing site. Just shocking to see such a large house like structure carved into a large rock cliff.

“Montezuma Castle”

Original home of the Sinuaguas, built into the cliff with a model of the dwellings at base. A most interesting informative site.

“Amazing History”
Reviewed March 19, 2012

Right off the highway from Phoenix to Flagstaff, we saw photos of this amazing site and simply had to stop. The level, accessible paved trail is easily walked and the signage and guides tell a wonderful sory.
