My husband and I visited this hotel in April without a sat nav I don't think we would of found this wonderful hotel. Andreas the owner and Pippa are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble.
The rooms are comfortable and the views are amazing.
Dinner is a five course meal left to the chef's imagination once again we where not disappointed.
We will definitely visit this hotel again.

Room Tip: Mountain view rooms

We overlapped with the previous reviewers(Peter and Julie) and agree with all they say. We also stayed over the weekend when the hotel was quite busy - quite a change from earlier in the week when we basically had the place to ourselves. You might want to consider this when booking.
Another thing to think about is the fact that the premises are on a very steep incline and the short hike up to the village would'nt suit elderly or infirm folk.
A final word about our hosts, Andres and Pippa. You will go a long way before you meet two more genuinely helpful and pleasant people. They made our stay extra special.

We stayed for 4 nights and eat at the hotel each night.
The setting is very pleasing on the eye and the standard of the rooms is good with comfortable beds.
The owner and his staff are very friendly and unassuming in looking after you.
The evening meal did not disappoint once and given that it was five courses over four days that is some accomplishment -some of their sources and salad dressings need bottling they are that good.
The positioning of the hotel is perfect for exploring the near countryside and we went when the almond blossom was in full bloom - some stunning sites.
In all we will definitely go back to both the area and the hotel and to see Andres of course!

Our stay here was quite spectacular - welcomed from the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. Our room was amazing with fabulous views of the valley below. Service discrete but first class and the food and wine list just incredible. We will return without a doubt.

Room Tip: When referring to fitness centre we mean surrounding walks and the small but perfectly located outdo...

After escaping dire La Manga (a trip won at an auction) we found this fantastic little hotel - thank goodness for google and Trip Advisor! Enjoyed 3 nights here and the contrast couldn't have been more different. Stunning location overlooking terraced fruit gardens and mountains. Our room was spacious with a balcony and jacuzzi bath. The set 5 course meal each evening was delicious and great value for money. The honesty bar was appreciated during the day especially when the main area of hotel is locked for a few hours over lunchtime. Andres ad Pippa were extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Allowed us to keep our room on departure day as our flight wasn't till the evening, organised local wine and salt for us to take home. We took our road bikes and the Sierra Espuna is a great area for cycling - saw moufflon and wild boar. Would highly recommend this hotel for people who like a truly personal touch and individuality. We will definitely go back.
