Interesting German house exhibit to walk through. Near Baker Park; they cleaned the place up nicely.

“take the friday night haunting tour!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 14, 2012

Have lived within walking distance of this museum house for almost 2 decades, can't believe it took me so long to take the Friday night tour which is all about the history and hauntings of the place. Way cool!

“Interesting Museum”

Small but worth a visit. You really get the feel for what it was like to live in the house years ago. I especially like the kitchen garden.

“Ghosts are real”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2012

Have been here several times (for tours and oktoberfest) and its always great. The tours are very informative and the house is full of activity, ghostly that is. You will have an experience and each time you go, it will be a different ghostly experience. So much so that my boyfriend is not scared to go, haha. Truly worth it. Just call ahead before you go to make sure a tour is available because it is easy to miss them.

“Historical and architecture beauty. They should make houses now a days like this one.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2012 via mobile

Went to the shifferstadt in February of 2012 for a paranormal investigation and had a good time. More recently we went there for a living history event with our grand children. It was very well set up with lots of things for little ones to learn and I was surprised to learn a few more things myself about the history of Frederick. Amazing place and well worth the low entrance fee. History is not for everyone but it should be and they put it together very well.
