First of all, keep the reviews in check. If you are looking for fine dining or exceptional, organic, exquisite, turn your nose up food, you need not spend your time here. If however, you are looking for a casual, relaxed, atmosphere beyond a fast food joint where you can get a great sandwich with a beer, no tipping necessary, then you have found it. While the chain restaurants (unfortunately) dominate Frederick, Friscos is the perfect place for a beer, sandwich, nachos or a salad. Place your order and seat yourself, your food will be called out when ready. A great sandwich is the Chronicle, yum-o. The potatoes are fabulous! The only negative is location. Yep, its in an industrial park and not convenient to much unless you work in that area. A second location on the other side of town would rock!

Friscos = casual dining = reasonable prices = healthy options. As a local, I just absolutely love Frisco's. Hidden away in a business park, it is a hidden little secret mainly known by word of mouth. Don't expect anything fancy; but that's ok. They have great salads, sandwiches, and baked potatoes. And you must try their famous Exploded potatoes. There is an adjoining ice cream shop and wine/beer shop. You can find fanastic wines at great prices; especially if you buy by the case or go on a Friday when they offer $1 above cost on their wines. We love getting sandwich platters and exploded potatoes for office functions; always a hit!

Our first visit to Friscos...It was not very busy on a Saturday afternoon after a beer tour at Flying Dog Brewery around the corner. (Don't miss Flying Dog!) Our late lunch was different varieties of grilled steak and chicken with different sides. Don't miss the exploded potatoes! We would have been happy with just a plate of those! All in all, the food was better than typical fast food.

You would never expect to pull a 56 passenger bus into an industrial park area for a fabulous lunch but we found a jewel. Owner/operators were great to work with! Food plentiful (most shared a meal) prices rock bottom and they had us all served at the height of lunchtime in 20 minutes or less. Winery icecream parlor this little oasis has it all. Outdoor indoor and upstairs seating. As a tour operator I will sing the praises of this place for a long time.

This little restaurant is great food for a great price. The type of food they serve is baked potatoes, salads, and sandwiches with a unique twist. The food is inexpensive all meals under $10. There is great outdoor seating for good weather. The restaurant itself is kind of small, however a great place for a family meal! I would recommend this food to anyone!
